I’m Back Home In Australia After One Full Circle Around The World

Just a short post as I’m pretty drained after flying home and having a cold.

I made it back home to Brisbane today after 8 months traveling. The trip took me completely around the world and included these major cities (in the order visited)…

  • Brisbane (home)
  • Fiji
  • Hawaii (Waikiki)
  • Vancouver
  • Toronto (spent summer here)
  • Las Vegas
  • Chicago
  • New York City
  • Niagara
  • Montreal
  • Quebec City
  • Winnipeg
  • Glasgow
  • Edinburgh
  • London
  • Brussels
  • Amsterdam
  • Paris
  • Rome
  • Venice
  • Florence
  • Napoli
  • Vouliagmeni (beach near Athens)
  • Athens
  • Dubai
  • Singapore
  • Brisbane

It was an amazing experience and something I’ve never done before. Obviously I have lots of photos and videos, most of which I simply haven’t had time to upload. I’ll slowly add them to my Flickr and YouTube accounts over the next few months.

During my travels I was able to run my business and of course blog too. This included completing two six figure product launches and generating six figures in affiliate sales. This is definitely a good thing because I can tell you – Europe is expensive for us Aussies!

Now that I’m back home my immediate priorities, besides getting over a cold, is to support all the new Become A Blogger Premium students and the Blog Mastermind students, clean up the email I’ve let pile up a little during the last couple of weeks and then just chill out for a bit before getting into 2009 project work.

I look forward to catching up with the Aussies and I hope everyone has a great holiday period wherever in the world you are.

    Hey Yaro,

How is Singapore? It is really great to be able to travel around the world and still earning a substantial amount of income.

Yaro, I really want you to answer this question. Did you travel the world alone? Or did you have any friends meeting up at different places?

Personally, being alone is not so comfortable for me especially when visiting new places. Perhaps its just a paradigm I need to change.

What is your advice for people like me who are hesitant to travel the world for the reason that they do not have a buddy?

    Deepak

  16. 18

Wow! That sounds like an amazing trip which I’d love to take one of these days…I’ve traveled all over the U.S., but not too much overseas.

Can’t wait to see all the pictures and videos!

  17. 19

so how much did you spend? lots of traveling my friend.

  18. 20

I envy what you did, Yaro, except for the various illnesses. If I were to do what you did, I think I would do as you said and just stay longer at a couple of cities.

Still, my hat is off to you for doing what many of us hope/plan on doing in the future.

    Yaro

Impressive, how does it feel to travel and not miss a beat as far as your income stream is concerned? What did you find was your greatest challenge during these eight months? If you had to do it all over again, what would you do differently? What kind of research was done before hand? Thanks in advance.

    Welcome back, Yaro.
Looks like Africa was not in your tour path. How come you can claim to have toured the whole world yet exclude Africa? I am mad! What happened?!
Hey, hey, hey hold it. Guys I am just kidding!! JUST KIDDING.
Hopefully, next time around Africa will arouse your interest. The people are very nice and appreciative of tourists. South Africa, Egypt, Senegal, Nigeria and Kenya are few of the many places you will find interesting.
    Welcome, back!

  41. 45

:O You dropped by at Winnipeg?! I’m surprised anybody out of Manitoba would even think of visiting Winnipeg… or have even heard of it.

  42. 46

  44. 48

    Hey Yaro

I have no idea who you are but I linked here from Problogger and it seems I’ve stumbled upon a Movie Star among bloggers. Cool. Well, I am a blogger wannabe. I now write about nine different blogs and I probably have all of 2 visitors per month between them all. LOL. But I love it. Wish I could live like you, traveling the world, writing, earning six figure incomes. How did you do that and now long did it take you?!
