I liked Lindsay’s comment. It kind of confirms that I’m on the right path. I have a large site with tons of content but it’s mostly instructional and the smaller sites that I have that are more product related have a way better future potential.

What I find amazing is looking back at all the earnings reports month by month. You can see how far Caroline’s come in the last year. I last checked her blog a few months ago and it’s amazing to see how much more money she’s making per month now.

Yes, these kind of details revealed in the interview and the comparison that made Caroline different from Yaro and others in the same niche is good to hear.

Hearing the history of her efforts online and what she’s tried, how she spent and spends her time on is really helpful.

I’ll have to go read about her niche sites like the ones they teach you on 30 Day Challenge. I’m wondering if she still has them running and needs to let them sit for a longer period of time or if she was shooting for a quicker response from those niche sites as far as making money.

This blog, Caroline’s blog and a very small number of similar blogs are definitely proving that a real income can be made online by blogging. Obviously there are the copycatters but the cream always rises to the top. At least now there are quality examples for the crowd to learn from.

I don’t know though if I could follow her template for making money online. It seems that most of her money comes from her products and courses, and I just don’t know if the average blogger can take that path and achieve success with it.

as said by the first commentor on this article, I love the fact that there is no hard-and-fast, set-in-concrete method for succeeding in blogging.. Generaly the only rule for making it into the higher echelons of professional blogging is to not do the same thing as everyone else.. be unique and offer somethnig new, using a different technique in achieving your goals

It’s nice to hear some success stories from your students, Yaro.

I have a response to Chris, who said:

“I would like to see examples of $1000+ dollars a month bloggers who write about gardening or car maintenance or any of the 1000s of subjects that most blogs are about.”

We’re out there.

It’s actually a *lot* easier to make money from sites that are linked to consumer products. I have a home improvement blog that made $50,000 last year, and I spend about a half hour a day working on it. Granted it’s more than 3 years old now, but it’s been making more than $1,000 a month for a long time.

I imagine Caroline picked this niche because she enjoys it more than car maintenance (imagine that), but it’s not an easy one to make money in, so I think any success in that area is impressive. She’s working hard and following her dream–that counts for a lot.

I don’t think its fair to Caroline a joke. She probably makes more online than 98% of the bloggers and marketers trying to make money. I actually respect her openness and honesty. Its better than all the bloggers who claim to be making a fortune but you know they don’t have 2 pennies to rub together.

Caroline is sort of a joke. She hardly makes over a $1000.00 a month and she has been going at it almost two years. Hardly a good example of a successful make money blogger. She even admits on her blog she doen’t really know how to make money and especially with Adsense.

Love Caroline’s interview. She is such an inspiration to me. I just started blogging 3 months ago and have been getting a reasonable amount of traffic using some of your ideas. I love submitting articles to Ezine articles and having it feature on other blog.

My income does not yet fully support me. Thankfully I have a large amount of savings from the sale of my house which will keep me going for quite a few years so I am free to keep experimenting

Also, I don’t live in London, I live in Essex which is significantly cheaper!
