Marcus, you should have done what I did and hung up almost right away. My bulls**t detector went off as soon as the guy started to speak. What annoyed me is that I'd asked to be taken off their mailing list, and even after calling the first time (when I reconfirmed that I didn't want to hear from them again), they called me 2 or 3 more times after that. The whole Filsaime 'process' stunk from start to finish, and as a result I would completely filter out anything from him again. To me its a negative that Yaro has any association with him, but I'll forgive him this one discretion. :)

Wow, I have to agree with some of the comments here. I just now got off the phone with a representative of the Mike Filsaime Company named "Kaden" (never sure if they use their real names). He called me, no doubt because I purchased the Butterfly Marketing 2.0 course.

Holy cow. The guy started off really nice, but as we got into the conversation, things really started to deteriorate. The questions started coming at me so fast that I had to ask him if he wouldn't mind just *giving* me more information instead of quizzing me constantly. He at one point said that I was being defensive and I have to admit it was like being on the witness stand!

I finally told Kaden that I didn't think the conversation was going well, and he just kept asking me questions and then contradicting me if my answers didn't match up with what I had said previously.

Honestly? My answers started changing because I was no longer interested in his program (Mentoring). Sure, I had been interested at the beginning of the conversation, but that changed as he berated me - and he claimed that because my answers weren't consistent, that meant I was being evasive and defensive.

Jeezus! It was surreal. It was like being grilled by a Scientologist.

I finally had to resort to simply saying "Kaden, we're done", and I had to repeat that about 8 times, seriously.

This was almost as bad as trying to cancel my AOL account, and let me tell you THAT was no picnic.

All I have to tell you is I would look elsewhere to JV, because I will NEVER give another dime to the Filsaime Organization, and I kinda look askance at anybody who aligns themselves with him.

Worst experience I've ever had with a "Guru" - Mike needs to get a handle on his delivery. When you compare the likable demeanor of some of the other Guru's and their people, and then Mike and his....It's like night and day.

I missed the contest but I bought Butterfly Marketing 2.0 anyway. It's awesome! I love the success stories - they're not only interesting and motivational but also give great ideas for businesses.

Yaro,

Thank you, soooo much, for sharing your knowledge and experiences with us. I'm new to internet marketing and I have lots to learn. However, you are at the top of my list for "go-to" guys when I want good, solid, quality information.

I took Mike up on his offer and I'm waiting with bated breath for my copy of Butterfly Marketing 2.0. I hope to "soar to the moon" with it!!!!!!!

And, with anything, you sift through it and take what you can use and discard the rest! Mike Filsaime may not be for some folks but he sure does appeal to a whole lot of others!!!! If I can learn just one thing from Mike's program that brings me $100, then it was worth the investment of less than $30 for shipping and handling. I have learned to differentiate between the man and the material when it comes to building my knowledge base. I say, "GO FOR IT!!!!!!"

Mike certainly has a reputation for the hard sell. I've been on his lists and its like getting clubbed over the head at times. But this does seem like an offer too good to pass up.

Just the fact that he makes tons of money does not qualify him to be a superman. He simply does not know the difference between a hard sell and an obnoxious experience. I am afraid that I have to agree with many of the negative statements here about Mike and am disappointed that you are plugging for him.

Ruby I appreciate your leniency towards me :-)

Mike certainly does have typos in his work and his scripts often have bugs, but there is one thing you can say about the guy - he makes a ton of money because of the strength of his marketing. Since the Butterfly Marketing manuscript teaches some of this marketing techniques, I reckon it's worth grabbing in this offer.

Of course as I replied to Scott above, there is a cost involved if you do this that includes an ongoing marketing system that you will become involved with as a result of accepting the offer.

Once bitten, twice shy, is a quite reasonable response, but let's not forget that everyone has a different experience. I appreciate you sharing yours.

Hey Scott - yes you do have to expect a marketing message (a request for money) during promotions like this for obvious reasons - they are not going to survive as business people if they only give their stuff away for free.

The "cost" of ordering something like this at the price of free (or shipping anyway) is participating in the marketing process they use to deliver the goods to you.

In this case, I think the cost represents very good value, but maybe to you it does not.

I have to agree with the negative comments here. I've been in a couple of forums/blogs in the past few days, and there has been an overwhelming amount of Mike bashing going on, exactly along the lines of what's here.

My problem with Mike and his materials is the guy is next to illiterate and has obviously never discovered how to use spell and grammar checking software. I can't get past all the mistakes in everything he does. Even his videos are difficult for me to listen to.

My practice of late has been to immediately unsubscribe from anyone who sends me anything about Mike and his products.

Just something else to be aware of...Mike sells his lists. I've received numerous phone calls from other marketers I've never signed up with and they begin by telling me the reason I'm being called is because I'm a customer of Mike's. I waste no time in setting them straight!

I value what you have taught me, Yaro, and what I know I will continue to learn from you...even though you're gently pushing Mike's stuff. I will forgive you. But only you! :-0

Seriously, I will never purchase anything from Mike again.

You know Yaro maybe I am just tired but I am getting pesimistic about these guys and there never ending courses for free but somewhere in this course will be a send me money message. After watching the video and listening to this guy talk about himself and then Frank Kern I was pretty turned off. Sorry but that is just how I feel about the site and video.

Thanks to you for bringing what you think is good and I appreciate all your hard work but this one turns me off.

Hmmm, I'm always wary of Filsaime. I paid for a copy of his Traffic Fusion software because it was actually good software, but I'd paid for it because I'd been sucked into the hype machine not because I particularly needed it so when I asked for a refund it took me a week of back and forth emails to get my money back even though there was apparently a "100% money back guaranteed no questions asked".

I bought the 7 Figure Report from Mike Filsaime last year and almost immediately got bombarded with emails. I quickly unsubscribed, but was surprised to then get a call from a high pressure sales guy on behalf of Mike. Despite saying I wasn't interested and asking to be taken off their calling list, I have received three more calls over the past 6 months, the most recent one last week.

Whilst I was properly unsubscribed from Mike's mailing list, the timing coincided with being put on a couple of spam IM lists. Given the phone calls, it wouldn't surprise me if this was also one of Mike's practices. Personally I would never buy anything from Mike's organisation again, and would advise anyone who is interested in doing so to be very careful before passing on their details.

Hi Yaro

I paid $997 for the script back when it first launched, and if anyone reading this plans on releasing a free report anytime soon they should be all over Mike's offer to get it for free.

The OTO concept and downsell is very powerfull, and if you can combine forces with people who have similar reports you can create a nice network and start building your list on autopilot.

Good luck to everyone who gets this great offer.
