An Unusual Interview With World Traveling, Book Writing, Internet Giant, Chris Guillebeau

This is no ordinary podcast interview with Chris Guillebeau. I say that because you have probably seen a lot of interviews surfacing with Chris lately and over the years as a multiple book author, world traveler, blogger and information marketer.

This interview is different because…well, Chris told me it was. Maybe he was just being nice, but he said at the end of our interview that he enjoyed this one more than most. That’s probably because I went back in time with Chris to take us into his past and learn the roads he walked to get where he is today.

In this interview Chris revealed…

Chris packs a lot into his life (he visits about 25 different countries a year and runs live events too). This interview will reveal bits and pieces of how he does it all, and lives a life of non-conformity (the theme of Chris’s website and book).

Also be sure to check out Chris’s latest book, The $100 Startup, which I suspect will appeal to a lot of EJ readers who are on a budget.

  • 25 Countries a year, what a schedule! Have a great day on purpose.

  • Been following Chris’s blog for a while. Makes you want to have a crack at things and have a go!

Very good interview Yaro – just imagine how many varieties of localized tuna recipes Chris has been able to eat on his world journeys! There are many ways to get through life. I think more people should follow his example of essentially learning through constructive chaos – he had to figure things out from his wits by following his passion over formal traditional formalized step-by-step education and Chris seems all the more inspiring and well-rounded as a result!

  • […] And Entrepreneur’s Journey, he talks about his past and his roots in another audio interview […]

  • Another awesome success story, thanks Yaro.

  • I read his book, $100 Startup, over the weekend… it’s a must read! Not only is Chris the REAL DEAL, his book is a blueprint, Pure content. If you want freedom + cash, his book is a great read. If not, keep watching the news :)

  • Wow, this is probably one of the best podcasts I’ve ever heard. Lots of information. Thanks

  • Great interview. Just finished Chris’ book. Love it.

Wow 25 countries/year- I am truly envious. After being inspired by Jim Harlan’s latest travel memoir, “Drifting on a Headwind,” I have made it a goal to visit at least 1 different country every other year. To be able to visit 25/year would be amazing! Great interview. I really enjoyed it!
