I went to work about a month ago to compile a timeline of my business history. It ended up taking a lot longer than I thought it would but given I was covering the last 25 years of my business life it’s not surprising. I’ve highlighted all the significant business-related events in my life including all the major offline and online projects I have been involved with.

It’s written in my usual style, reasonably anecdotal and probably littered with spelling and grammar hiccups, but should give you a good background on how I got to where I am. There are a lot of highs (selling MTGParadise.com) and lows (taking a $15,000+ credit card fraud hit) and I’ve attempted to be as comprehensive as possible without getting too bogged down with details.

With the completion of the timeline and my recent articles on How I Have Made Money Online, A Day in the Life of an Internet Entrepreneur and Small Business Owner Realities I finished my task list for the About section of Entrepreneur’s Journey.

I’ve made the new About section live and placed a tab at the top of the site which you will see if you are viewing this as a webpage.

I really enjoyed writing my timeline. Besides the obvious ego indulgement it’s a good exercise to recount your life in writing so you can put to paper your experiences (or digital paper in this case). It helps you to remember your mistakes and successes and the insight you gained from those events. I recommend a good life story brain dump to anyone running a personal blog.
