It’s very interesting to see how you made money online in your early days from these old posts. The basics seem to remain the same, most of those tips still work well 3 years later.

There seem to be more and more ways to Make Money Online nowadays; unfortunately its never as easy as its made out to be.

Where did you first start off making money online? Was it a blog or what? (at the moment I only own a website and a blog, but making $5 a day really isn’t enough to live off!)

I have to admited that make money on line is not easy at all. I try a lot ways but still I didnot find a right way. But I am doing research now, and thanks for your blog it’s really help me a lot.

Hi Yara,

I have had consistently 700 plus visitors a day on my website about Ireland. I have tried to sell cd roms , pictures etc.but would only sell one or two a week. I decided to start putting the contents of the cd roms onto the website. About two months ago I put on some Google ads and found that they brought in some money, not a lot though. I want to try to increase traffic and I believe this is through forums and a blog.

I’ll share my past experience and future hopes on selling online. I starting selling self-published educational products in 2000 online and in bookstores. Approximately 10% of my sales were through my website (bookstores took the rest). Most of this traffic was generated through referrals from media coverage.

My first web page was made using Microsoft Word and was an absolute shocker. Yet I had some sort of poor copy on it, which was enough along with the traffic to generate about 300 online sales, or about $7500 revenue. I didn’t have an online store at that stage, just a mailing form you could print out and send in with a money order or cheque.

Now with a proper ecommerce system set up I am hoping to get a larger number of sales through my new website. In my case this means learning good copy skills to increase the conversion rate – media coverage should take care of the traffic.

I also started my e-biz from ebay.Then online store, affiliate program, and ebook. Depending on the topic, profits are really different, does’nt it ?

Yaro, another great addition to the series. I look forward to the final one. Do you think that operating a store now with the older Magic cards for sale (from at least 6 years ago) would be more profitable then it was back then? Or do you think the way to go would just eBay it? I have a stock pile of at least 400 cards from myself and my brothers that I am looking to get rid of and make some money from.
