Carnival Of The Vanities #162

I’m trying out the original and oldest blog carnival, the Carnival Of The Vanities, by submitting my article Online Marketing Outside The Box.

This week the carnival is held at Baboon Pirates, where El Capitan will guide you through a range of all kinds of interesting blog topics, and not just business topics, the Carnival Of The Vanities is an eclectic carnival.

If you’re a blogger (and who isn’t these days!), you can submit your articles to over a hundred different blog carnivals listed at Blog Carnival.

I’ve found blog carnival to be very helpful for me. Although recently, within the last couple of months, I’ve toned down from submitting my articles to carnival and directories because I feel that doing so, i’m making it harder on myself to rank in search engines. I feel that when submitting article after article to directories, I’m creating competition for myself in the search engines. Just my perspective.
