What’s the most common and simplest marketing advice for attracting traffic to your blog?
Leave comments on other blogs.
Yep, it’s easy, it’s quick, and because of that, nearly everyone does it wrong. However because so many use blog comments to pretty much just leave spam, if you use blog comment marketing the right way, you really stand out from the crowd and can enjoy good results.
Watch the video and I explain how to more effectively use comments to market your blog.

Hi Yaro,
I have tried for a few years to get my online business off the ground. I believe my real fault was having too many websites like you mention in one of your interviews. I even have a few websites I was actively tending to everyday, but I was not making what I wanted from those. I also feel like I was not passionate about those topics I was writing on the website.
One thing I am passionate about is always keeping myself busy. I feel the best way to do that is to work. So, right around the time my first child was born, was when I got into working from home. Starting a blog became an ideal about 2 years ago.
I don’t mean to ramble, but you have some really great ideals. I feel like I have my niche now, because my ideals are pouring out. I am writing 5-8 articles a week. I enjoy what I am writing about and I like that I can help others in the process. I really appreciate your video and your Blog Profits Blueprint. I actually read the whole online book already….LOL and it didn’t take very long at all.
Thanks again for that you do!
Best Wishes~

Blog commenting is such a slow, tedious process, but as you’ve shown can definitely be effective (in a variety of ways)… and there really aren’t many shortcuts for doing it right (e.g. automated spammy commenting, etc.).
I never really realized the value of blog commenting before I watched this video. I understood the importance of personal connection and social ‘marketing’, but I didn’t realize the importance of the content.
I have often been guilty of simply saying “Thanks for the great article”, because I genuinely enjoyed reading it. I now realize that it is important to expand on that in order to help make my blog more successful.
I only have a simple travel blog fueled by the passion of the things I have seen and done and wish to share, but I would to connect and learn from so many other successful bloggers.
Thank you for opening the curtain and letting me peek behind just a little bit more.
