Great article. Pillar articles are very important. I think I have 1 good pillar article. I need to get busy and start writing more attention grabbing pillar articles and start doing trackbacks. Never really knew how that work until now.

I am pretty new to blogging but your tips have helped me to grow my traffic. My blog is called http://www.stuckserving.com, and it posts funny waiter stories every day, kind of like fmylife.com but for waiters. The most traffic I have gotten on a day was 460, and that was due to commenting on other people’s blogs. Thanks for the great help and for creating such a great blog. I really want to attain the level of success that you have some day, how much traffic do you generally find it takes to make a decent income?

Thanks Yaro, i found your blog very helpful but am still having problems coming up with articles in my line of business i.e Corporate/Business Gifts, Household, Wedding Souvenirs etc.. At first, I thought that the only way to increase traffic is by writing best quality articles. Now, I realize that bloggers need to be active in promoting their blogs by registering their blogs in directories, writing articles in Ezinearticles and etc. Yaro, thanks for this tip. I will apply it in my blog and marketing campaign.

Been looking through your site for a couple of days now and cant believe the amount of free stuff that is available – Being a newbie I’m still making loads of mistakes like making posts without having any pillar articles so will concentrate on those first from now on – again thanks for the insight
