Brisbane Entrepreneurs Meet-Up

For any entrepreneurs in Brisbane around late March, I’m organising another entrepreneurs meet-up and you are welcome to come provided you are not completely insane or only looking to recruit people into your pyramid business scheme.

I’ve sent out an email to the people that I know would be interested but I’ve lost a few contact details for other Brisbane entrepreneurs so do get in touch if I forgot you or you are interested in coming along.

It’s a casual gathering with no agenda other than to mingle with other entrepreneurs and small business owners – a chance to talk shop with like minded individuals.

Nice,.. we have a couple of groups here in Melbourne yo might like to hook up with when next you are in town. One is PitchClub, and the other is X2O Alpha Pod. We built and utilise Podmatcher.com to get across all the face to face sessions (so details of there are there). Would love to know about sydney and brisy meets.

    Oh, also…

Sorry to seek advise out of the blue like this. We have some office space going really cheap and thought I’d let you know in case you or anyone you know would be interested.

We (vroomvroomvroom.com.au) want to share the existing space with another company. There’s enough extra room for up to another 6 workstations. (there’s 3 of us at the moment) Price around $100 – 200/week depending on how much space you want.

There is also a large street facing store front if needed.

It’d be perfect for an existing business or a small home business looking to grow.

Well, thought I’d drop by to say the first online business meetup organised by vroom car hire was a great success. Guys from carhire.com.au, wotif, oodles, sunzine and globenet travel all turned up and contributed their online business skills. Be sure to come to the next one!

It’s big and bold and obvious, but I don’t think “garish” quite captures its presence. Brisbane needs more of these types of things – or it’ll just stay as the “gateway to the gold/sunshine coasts” and not have anything to attract people in its own right….
