Well, it's quite interesting to read your story; even I've been into the blogging world for over 5 years now, and I was planning to sell one of my websites (not omthoke.com) that gets about 10,00,000 Page Impressions/month and makes about $3000 monthly profits - what do you think should be a good price for it?

I wanted to comment on that post where you've discussed the process of selling your site, but i guess comments were closed on it, so just commenting on this post (hope you won't mind :) ...)

And, did you use any broker or an established forum like DP or sitepoint? I'm looking at international buyers and hence consulting a lawyer wouldn't help much!

I've about $100,000 as the price in mind (i know such numbers sound insane), but mainly revenues are from advertising so I guess a smart buyer shouldn't have problem in recovering the money within 2years at the most!

You said it.
I have been immensely benefited by providing correct titles fro my blog.
The flow of targeted visitors has steadily increased as I placed the most important of my keywords in each blog post title.
A big "Thank You" for your time & efforts & expect more from you in the future .

Hi Internet Cashflow Guy - yes titles are certainly a tricky aspect of blogging. I've published articles with awful headlines in the past and I'm still refining how to do it well. I probably spend the most time puzzling over my titles while the article itself comes out quite effortlessly.

Yaro,

Thanks for the recap - I find this a very valuable way to access some of the key posts that you have done so that I can learn and improve.

One thing I also notice is that you seem very good at creating the good headlines to your posts. I wrote about just that on my blog - basically a writer has about 3 seconds to convince a person to scan a post and the more catchy and descriptive a headline can be the better. Just look at how newspapers sell papers.
