Steve Pavlina's content on his website inspired me to start a site and start making money at it.

Pavlina also was doing a polyphasic sleeping pattern (sleeping 1.5 hours in a 24 hour period through taking 6 15 minutes naps around the clock) which I was on for 273 day and the second time around, I evolved this through trial and error of only sleep 45 minutes through taking a 15 minute nap during the day and two fifteen minute naps during the night.

I follow about ever 1,000 blogs through RSS feed and 75 through email feed and for some reason Yaro's words and Steve's words have the most impact on me.

Thank you Yaro for being who you are and doing what you do. :)

Yaro,

Great interview. I had not heard of Steve before.
I checked out his site. I will make him a regular stop based on content.

However, while he describes his site as under monetized - it is almost exclusively Googlized. I am not criticizing Steve or anyone who uses Google... it is everywhere and seemingly innocuous. I too had considered Google as part of my revenue plan. However, I am reluctant to succumb because they sold out free speech for profit in their deal with China.

What about the personal development and personal freedoms of chinese citizens? It is a delemna for me. I will struggle to choose the right thing and not support repression by not becoming part of the Google jaugernaut. I will also write them to let them know.

But I am a tiny plankton in this internet ocean. I mean nothing to them. What about the heavy hitters. Would Google listen to them? Would Google reconsider?

with best regards,
Herb

[...] There’s an interview with Steve Pavlina on Entrepreneur’s Journey. Steve is quite the guy and I’ve put much of his advice on business and personal development to use in my own life. It’s well-worth the read because regardless of whether you agree or disagree, you’re bound to walk away with some deeper insight into an aspect of your life. Enjoyed this article? All of the site’s content is free for visitors. I have no products, no customers, no inventory, no employees, and no sales.
Good job Yaro.

This business model leaves me with a feeling of abundance instead of a feeling of scarcity. I could enjoy a nice income for years just from the content I’ve already produced.

and

What you must understand is that there is no such thing as passive perception. All perception is a form of creation. You may think that you’re merely perceiving and interpreting external reality, but in fact you are simultaneously creating it.

This is Steve Pavlina at his best.

Looking forward to Part 2!

Thanks for putting this interview together, Yaro. I'm also a fan of Steve's work. This past November, when I was starting my blog and podcast, I discovered Steve's podcast (and blog). I knew much of what I could accomplish and what I needed to do, but he inspired me to go with it, to start down that road. His experience tells me it is possible to find what I seek. And it continues to inspire.

Great work Yaro, The man, the myth, the legend in the blogosphere, Steve Pavlina. It's always interesting to here how and why others are doing what they do.

Add to that some self help for the rest of us and some motivaitonal responses to your questions, and theat equates to a useful interview.

I can't wait to read the next one.
