I bought the Butterfly Marketing program on the first day of launch and had no idea what its purpose was. I had been watching the launch of it for about 5 or 6 weeks and Mike Filsaime did such a great job on it that I felt compelled to buy the product without knowing anything else. Stupid, I know, but nevertheless I am a fan of good marketing tactics and I loved his launch. It took me 6 months to dust it off and figure out what it did, but once I did I was very pleased. In fact, I use if for a lot of other functions that it was not really designed for, but because it does so much it is perfect for my needs.

I now own both Butterfly Marketing and the Motivated Marketing systems. I have used Butterfly Marketing much more and I have only created one site with the Motivated Marketing system. I highly recommend one or the other if you are doing any kind of online marketing, especially if you like the One Time Offer trigger and the membership driven programs.

Vaibhav - I believe I was offered to be part of the launch for the Build-An-Empire program but I declined because I didn't have a chance to really look into it. Hence I really can't answer your question of whether it is a good idea to stick with the program - I know nothing about it.

If you think you can stick to it then I'm sure you will get some results. Most programs like that will work for people who actually follow the system. You may not get rich but you will learn a lot if nothing else.

Good luck!

I recently bought something very similar to the Butterfly Marketing system but with a twist! Its the Build-An-Empire.com partner system. It is just like the butterfly marketing but associated with audio bookstores. I recently bought it for $1000+$50 per month hosting costs and am awaiting for the materials in my mail. It will give me 30% per sale and I am allowed to recruit my own affiliates and pay them from this 30% share. It was given out to only 1000 people and luckyily I got in..not sure if I was right though! The system also allows me to generate 1000s of pages for me and my affiliates filled with adsense and audio book ads from my main store. Do you think things like these work? I also have a 30 day moneyback guarantee..so need to decide soon. Can you shed some light on its usefulness Yaro?

A lot of times people get caught up in the "next big product" or the next big idea but the truth is that business is the same as it was 100 years ago. The rules haven't changed. You don't need any more information, all the information you could ever want to learn is ready to be found, for free. Nobody needs to spend thousands to learn business the right way.

It great to read this, as it mirrors much of my thinking on the launch of a product. Mike Filsaime refers to Butterfly Marketing as being little things that make a difference.

Way back when I worked in project management and timing for a motor manufacturer, my boss at the time (still a friend even though neither of us work there any more) had a different name for it.

"Attention To Detail".

It certainly does make all the difference in any product launch, and it's something I've never forgotten.

Yaro, I can't wait for you to finish the course, but I know what a mountain of work you have ahead of you. Good luck!

No Noah - not yet. I'm heading to the post office today though and I hope it will be there. I'm not sure whether I'll be asking for a refund or not yet, it depends if I can use the software and how good all the bonuses are too.

Very much looking forward to your course, Yaro. I'd also be interested in your reviews whether you keep the products or not. I haven't seen the motivated marketing, but I followed the butterfly marketing launch when it was happening.
