I haven’t been sending out enough link love to other bloggers lately. It’s been all “me me me” so today I’m going to give some back. These are some business blogs by respected bloggers whom I recommend you check out.
Build A Better Business Blog by Patsi Krakoff and Denise Wakeman is one of the original business blogs I stumbled across. What I like most about this blog is the regular podcast interviews they do with experts.
DuncanRiley.com by ahh, Duncan Riley, is not exactly a business blog but you will find plenty of commentary on web business and blogging in particular because Duncan is one of the owners of the blog network b5media. Duncan is a very vocal and opinionated blogger, and an Aussie too.
Suzanne Falter-Barns’ Painless Self Promotion is a blog about promoting thy self and thy website.
Small Office Media and Small Office Herald from Martin Neumann are two blogs devoted to, you guessed it, the small office or home office business person. Martin rose to blogging prominence via his now closed blog, HomeOfficeVoice.com. You can see what he’s up to under the new small office suite of blogs (I’m still not sure exactly where he is going, but I’m sure he knows).

Thank you Yaro.
BTW, do you know that Yaro in Indian language means addressing lot of good friends.
Thanks for the link love Yaro,
Don’t be so sure I know where I’m going as well.
But here’s the plan (for this week at least :-)) …
I’m focusing on 3 areas:
The still relatively new Small Office Media will be morphed into Small Office Herald and that will be my main focus. SOMedia will eventually be turned into a AIS batch of sites (I’ve tested some AIS-type ideas and gosh damn it they realy work).
I have a blog set to launch called ePublishingDaily.com which will be about developing information products.
And I have KickstartPress.com (not a blog) which will publish my (and some others) ePublications.
Amit - wow, no I didn’t know that and strange considering I have a few indian friends, you would think they would have told me.
I do know that in Japanese “Yaro” can be not quite as nice though.
Martin, thanks for the breakdown. I thought you were taking this year off for a holiday but it seems you will have your hands full.
Thanks for the excellent introductions, Yaro. I’ve gotten to know some great people and worthwhile bloggers thanks to your post.
Yaro … err, a year-long holiday!!! Don’t you need money for that?
Nah, I just took some time out to re-focus and get some balance to my online activities. It’s good for the soul getting away from it and coming back stronger than ever with a 1, 2 & 3 year plan.
And my above breakdown (err, that’s breakdown of my activities) is it for me for the next 1-3 years.
Yaro - awesome links. I’m always looking for new blogs to learn from. Thanks!
Awesome links! Thanks for the heads up. I also was following Home Office Voice and I am glad that Martin Neumann still blogs on SmallOfficeMedia.
Hey Yaro … Thanks so much for including me on this list (now my site is actually called Get Known Now Blog — http://www.getknownnowblog.com) You know how it goes … the eternal quest to get the brand tight.
Much appreciated! And I’ll share the love, Suzanne Falter-Barns
Hi Suzanne - Your welcome and nice name change on your blog. I’d still recommend putting a “by Suzanne Falter-Barns” in the title though for the whole personal branding thing.
Dear “Addressing a Lot of Good Friends,”
Thanks Yaro for the link love, and for reminding us of the need to do the same. Kisses back at ya from the Blog Squad! We will be meeting up and speaking from the podium with Suzanne this week at the book publishing events in Washington DC, all about using blogs to write and market your book. So maybe you are taking some of your time to move in that direction?
No book for me Patsi and it was Martin who was having some time off (although I’m not so sure now, I think he’s addicted to blogging).
I’m not writing quite as comprehensively on my blogs until BlogTrafficSchool.com is finished. Writing a course is as big a job as writing a book I’m finding - at least there’s almost as much content.
