Aussie Technorati Launches – Gnoos.com.au

The somewhat hyped (at least here in Australia) latest blog search engine, Gnoos, was just released. Much like Technorati but with an even stranger name (or maybe not…) and Aussie flavor, Gnoos offers blog search results for Australia and the World.

While I don’t think the Aussie blogosphere is that big it’s nice to have a window into what the few of us are talking about. Plus I’m into all things blogging so it’s good to see some Australians creating blog related web services.

    Hmm,
I just checked it out, and none of the popular Australian blogs are even listed!
I submitted all 5 of my blogs and none of have shown up yet (3 days). At this pace, the website is never going to work.

I doubt this new service will ever make it big.

Why? I dunno – just a gut feeling.

I just check it out again now, and all the blogs I submitted are now showing up. Nonetheless, as Marco said, it doesn’t feel right.. yet.

Hmm….they have to start somewhere and we could be saying “Remember When” some day in the future.

Also, it’s cool to have a Technorati style service based in different countries.

imho, To work, it will have to have more features than it currently does.

Added/submitted my blog to their index last week, and checked again today, and did not find it.
