Follow Yuwanda Black’s Article Marketing Case Study

Yuwanda Black, who blogs at Creative & Editorial Freelancing, recently left comments on one of my older posts reviewing my efforts at article marketing – Is Article Marketing Worth Your Time?.

She commented that her article marketing results have been great (while my own back then were not so good) and has gone ahead and started a new case study on her blog, which you can read the first part of here – How article marketing is significantly increasing my income (Part 1 of 5).

I have plans to use article marketing again in the near future so I’m keeping my ear to floor (does that make sense?) on this topic. Let’s hope Yuwanda’s articles can help us all significantly increase our incomes using article marketing.

    Thanks for sharing the article. I had submitted some articles for some of my clients and it definitely helped them in increasing the link popularity as well as in getting targetted traffic from these articles. One thing I always wonder is when we submit the same article to many article directories, are the article directories not penalized because of duplicate content?

    It’s great to see that Yuwanda is having success and making a case study of her efforts.

    There is so much mis-information out there right now about “duplicate content” and Article Marketing in general that many are now overlooking a strategy that still works well.

    Now, not everyone will get the same results from their Article Marketing efforts but that’s true of just about everything in life.

    Some distribute articles because of the “backlinks” they expect to generate. Others distribute to build credibility and start a dialogue with their target market in a non-threatening environment.

    I guess what I’m trying to say is this… If you are writing/submitting quality articles that are enjoyable to read and add real value to your readers, you are on your way to Article Marketing success.

    If you are just submitting poorly-written articles just because you expect them to bring you backlinks and improved SEO you’re not likely to see much improvement.

    Article Marketing is a fabulous way to establish credibility and get targeted website traffic, but only if do it right and provide valuable content.
