How To Launch A Forum With An Instant Audience

Here’s a strategy for launching a buzzing forum from day one – create an uber-popular blog first, then launch a forum and bring your existing blog audience over to it.

Steve Pavlina has done just that launching his brand new Personal Development for Smart People Forums. He’s already reported explosive traffic growth at the forums and as I type this there are over 270 people on the forum with registrations numbers over 1000 and I expect the growth won’t be stopping any time soon.

Steve’s blog happens to be one of the most popular blogs in the blogosphere (we are talking millions of page views a month) so it’s not necessarily an easy thing to replicate, but certainly a joy to watch what one individual can create online.

If you want to learn more about Steve I interviewed him back in April -

I agree, you can shift your readers from one site to another. Especially if you’ve had developed a positive rapport with your audience.

With devoted and loyal visitors, that notion can be applied to any new site launched.

As always, a popular site is the best way to get the ball rolling.

So what is the secret? Just having a high traffic site? Thats obvious ;)

Certainly no secret Dave, but fun to watch it happen.

Thanks for this Yaro – I agree, great to see examples of highly successful sites that do a great job of building a critical mass around a niche market by tapping into in-demand topics.

Any chance you can convince Steve to conduct a follow-up interview to get an update on his latest tecniques and strategies?

It’s amazing how desires of various people can be manipulated to generate income.

This below here is a summary of stevepavlina.com.

“Oh, you want to be disciplined ? Improve your health, your career, your finances, your relationships, your emotions, your habits, and your spiritual beliefs.

Then read my articles and click my ads and donate me money. Now I shall brag about your stupidity for providing me money.”

It’s a big scam and almost none of us realizes it.

The truth is, only a small percentage of people can truly survive without working for other people.

Look at the statistics, 95% of businesses fail withing the first 5 years.

What makes you think you can do better alone ?

Steve pavlina offers only poison for our minds.

I found a more detailed review of stevepavlina.com recently. Check it out it’s an interesting read.

I have just my personal development blog for 3 months and I am following Steve’s blog since he is considered as on of the best on this niche. It’s really true, when you already have an existing followers (blog’s followers), what you can do is just to shift them to your forum.
