Format Text Tool

If you are like me you send out email newsletters on a regular basis. I only use text based email newsletters and I always need to format the width by using character spacing restrictions. You can read why I do this in my article – Formatting Email Newsletters – Should You use Plain Text or HTML?

In that article I recommend spacing of 60 characters as a good rule of thumb, although today I generally use 50. Each time I prepare a new email newsletter I go to a format text tool and I figured a lot of other people probably do this too, so it would be handy to have a tool right here on Entrepreneurs-Journey.com – so I set one up!

Email Format Tool

You can find the new Format Articles and Text Tool at:

http://www.entrepreneurs-journey.com/format-text.html

The tool is very easy to use and costs nothing. It’s based on the script at Web-Source.net.

I suggest you bookmark it ;-) .

Enjoy!

Just checked it out Yaro, not a bad tool at all! Thanks for the tip!

    Glad you liked it Dave!

Yeah the simple online tools like this are great.

We of the internet generation often check the net first for a simple task/tool/lifehack, before trying to manually achieve the desired result using some bloated piece of software.

You might like to consider a small sidebar block devoted to these online tools on your site? Make it nice and simple for people to find them, wherever on your site they happen to be.

Hey StrangeProgress – I am considering making the tools available from the sidebar but at the moment I only have the one tool.

I’m considering cleaning up the sidebar a bit too so I think when I go to do that I will consider getting the tools in there too.

    Thanks for the suggestion!
