		<description>many people did do that --- remember the fiasco surrounding the mcdonalds.com domain --- the guy had the nerve to actually use ronald@mcdonalds.com and e-mail Mc Corp...asking them for $$$$ for the domain --- lol.

But it is so true though... I didn&#039;t even knwo the internet or .com&#039;s for that matter existed in the 80&#039;s.

Oh the internet... remember when internic had the global monopoly on .com&#039;s? Man they made a few pennies eh --- It was like 70$ a year for a domain back than.

Oh how times have changed...what will be next? I wonder what new technology will enable the internet beyond what it is today... it seems like most of the stuff out there re: social networks and such...are just fads...

I ask you ...what do users really want when they come online, if anything...

Can you imagine knowing then what we know now? You could invest a few million buying up a load of domains and become... well, a billionaire.</description>
