    One ‘got ya’ to watch out for…

    Although they are ‘added’ to the list automatically when using the Aweber email parser, customers DO have to CONFIRM their opt-in .

    That means you either need to explain and bribe appropriately to ensure they look out for the email and click the confirm link.

    OR, if being on the list is 100% critical, you can do this:-
    1. Set the Paypal confirmation page to a ‘you must now confirm your email to get your product’ page.
    2. Customise your Aweber ‘confirm email’ appropriately.
    3. Set your Aweber ‘confirmed’ URL to the real product download page.
    4. Add a message to the list to give their product download link again.

      @Martin..

      1. True … the bribe almost always works…

      2. PAYPAL no longer allow people to *force* email signup to mailing list after a transaction in order to actually get the digital download/product.

      Its best to use an integrated script such as in Rapid Action Profits etc (usually called the PayPal callback script) to auto extract the email variable from paypal.

      Its best not to p1ss off ya cu$tomers ;)
