Your descriptions of Montreal ring very true with me.
I used to cut through McGill campus from the Plateau to Sherbrooke Ouest when my girlfriend was going to Concordia. Not so sure about Kingston, though…
drove through it once — didn’t really see much I would have called “pretty” (maybe I was in the wrong spot however (Montreal, too, has its ugly neighbourhoods, let’s be honest, particularly driving through it on the highway …)…

I live in montreal and i love this place. You’ve been lucky with the weather because right now it’s very cold.
I agree with Patrick, the Old Montreal is very nice, my favorite part of the city.

I live in Montreal and it is such a beautiful city. I suggest you go take a walk in the Old Montreal, when it is snowy it is such a beautiful place. The architecture is great.

Canada’s a great place to explore.
I’ve never made it to Montreal, but I’d recommend Banff National Park to anyone who makes it to Alberta.

Hey Yaro drop by ottawa, though I Know what highway you’re going to be taking, so it may be a bit out of the. its a great town. COLD but nice !!! I might suggest you strap some metal strips to your feet grab a beaver tail and go for a skate on the canal !!.

Oh, warm enough to snow is a common thing where I live. A few years ago we got almost no snow, because the average temperature was usually around 5 below (-15 celsius) with a lot of clear blue skies and high winds.

It was the first time I had actually had my eyes freeze shut while I was out running; I usually took those days short and would go home after a few miles.
