I agree with you on having other viewpoints on dating. You could possibly be popping at the seams with many facets, for instance dating and religion or dating within the different types of religion. None-the-less, more than one opinion is always best, unless your are wanting to be the "Dating Guru". Ultimately, if you go in more directions with dating then you will open your site to more traffic.

This was great reading. I have a tech blog as well as my dating one and we pay someone to write for us. He is a fabulous with tech related material. It is difficult to find the time to do it all yourself. I write all my dating articles myself but would like to find someone to give it another viewpoint. I think one person writing 100% of the material is perhaps not the best idea.

You can get fantastic guest authors, however it really depends on their motivation. Usually the top blogs get the best guest contributions because the return in exposure is significant.

On the other hand, just because someone is paid doesn't mean they are good.

The only answer to this as always is to test. Try people out and when you find good people, do whatever you can to keep them happy.

Hi Tony & Yaro :)

A bit OOT - What do you think is better - having someone write for you as a paid writer or for free as a guest writer?

I understand that paid writer is, for some reason, paid in exchange for supreme quality, but guest writer has different motives in mind (must be other than money).

Cheers guys!

It depends on your agreement with the author of the content. If you paid for full rights, then you can stick your name on it. In most cases if you buy an article you have full rights, but you might want to double check that first.

I've thought about this before. But I was scared of getting the quality of my content messed up. This article has address a lot of the fears I was having.
However, I have a question. If I ask someone to write for me, must I put their name on the article when I already paid for the job? I know the question may sound stupid. But I will appreciate if you answer me.

I've been contacted by several blog start-ups to write for them, and I'm not sure if this makes sense for me to do. I already have a good brand and a robust blog (that takes LOTS of time) and I'm wondering if I should spread myself that thin.

Do you have any examples of people doing that?
