Hi all,
Found my own name :) and so I thought I had better comment.

My book covers what works- My niche site (dog clothes) - is in the top 10 for "dog clothes" look for "Just Dog clothes dot com"

My new SEO training site (seo training live dot com) is in the top 20 - still new more work do to.

There are many out there who say "do this" or do that"- I am in the trenches doing it....

Sandra, I will email you a copy if you are interested- in exchange for an honest review.

I have to agree with David Starr, I'm trying to find a review of this book and the only thing I can get on Google is this, which isn't helpful since you haven't read the book. Has anyone out there read it yet? Let me know if you have and your honest opinion. Thanks!

Well if 5 or 6 is a "throng" then it's correct, I certainly would have used "throes", a condition of heroic or even agonizing struggle, often associated with giving birth to something ... as opposed to throngs (normally of people). The throngs will come later when signup is in full swing, we hope.

Didn't really mean it to sound arguementative, though ... most dictionaries just define words in terms of other words such that they become a circular argument anyway ... I was just checking that it wasn't a down-under thing.

With regards to Paul and the original criticism, my view still holds ... I guess a better way to phrase it would have been just to post the link _without_ the disclaimer, it was the disclaimer that made it seem out of tune with the rest of you philosophy/quality.

Best regards,
Dave (and Lorelle, dear lady, I'll sign my comments any time I want to ;-)

Ha - David, thanks for the feedback - I did not think the word "throngs" is a colloquialism, but perhaps it is.

I just checked the definition here:

http://www.answers.com/throngs&r=67

and it applies how I meant it. I'm "crowded in" with a lot of tasks.

Paul wanted me to send out a notice about his product on Wednesday so I had no time to do more than I did. I wouldn't normally post links to products unless they are the big launches like StomperNet, but Paul is a nice guy and I wanted to help him out.

Thanks to the five guys I've got helping with the launch of www.BlogMastermind.com it's not been too bad. It's more a case of two other large things happening at the same time (house purchase being one) that have slowed things.

We are running full steam ahead now and all the pieces are coming together nicely.

If you go to www.blogmastermind.com now you can even see the new look taking shape that my designer has been helping with.

It's all very exciting stuff.

Hi Yaro,

Just thought I'd express the opinion that this is not the sort of post we regular readers expect ... "I haven't had a chance to review Paul's stuff" ... my mailbox (and blocked email folder) are already full of such links. In accord with your own advice, 'tis better not to make a post when you don't have time to do it right .. certainly I cna go back through my blogging efforts and tell at first glance which ones I posted in a hurry...

And this may be another of those Aussie versus Yank English things but I'm completely baffled by the use of the word "throngs" in the context you used it. A typo or another usage I need to learn to become more international?

Be of good cheer, my friend, one thing I have already learned well from you is _not_ to attempt any "build your own course" project. I had thoughts along those lines once in the past but now that I see how much you've been going through I just hope you make it out the other side in one piece.

Haha ... dog clothes are huge business. I know someone in the pet industry ... the markup on that stuff is incredible (people pay anywhere from 20 to 40 bucks for a t-shirt for their dog)
