What I Did When I First Started My Blog

When I wrote the Blog Profits Blueprint I had just started my third year of blogging.

I had grown my income to $10,000 per month on average, and had about 2,000 people a day visiting my blog.

Everything I did to grow my traffic and make money was fresh in my mind. It was the perfect time to write the Blueprint because I knew exactly what it takes to start from zero.

Over a period of one month I sat down every single day at my favourite local cafe and wrote a section of the Blueprint. It took the entire month, but in the end I had written a 55-Page report, ready for the world to download.

I didn’t expect the Blueprint to do as well as it did. There is nothing I have ever written since that has had as much impact as the Blueprint has.

Complete strangers have come up to me and explain how they love the Blueprint and how it started them down a path to making money from the internet.

If you are just starting out with your blog or thinking of getting into blogging as part of your business, the Blog Profits Blueprint is the perfect resource – and it’s free!

  • My personal system for turning a blog into a $10,000 a month STABLE income source

MP3 Audio Version Included

I personally prefer to listen to learn, so when I wrote the Blog Profits Blueprint I made sure to create an MP3 audio version as well.

I recorded the audio version myself, so you can listen to my voice explain to you everything you ever wanted to know about blogging.

People have told me they listen to the MP3 version at the gym on the treadmill over and over again to totally absorb all the lessons.

You can use the MP3 on your smartphone, take it with you in the car, on a plane, or just out for a walk.

Whether you prefer to scan and read, or listen on the run, the choice is yours.

Hint! – I use my iPhone and put the playback speed at 2x normal speed. This means it takes half the time to get through audio lessons.

Now Is The Perfect Time To Start

I’ve coached over 3,000 people how to make money blogging through my various training courses and coaching programs.

I can tell you there is one common trait among those who succeed…

They don’t hesitate to start, they get busy working and they do something every day.

Blogging is certainly not a path to overnight success.

The people I have taught who have gone to make as much as $46,000 a month – and even a couple of million dollar blogs – got there because they kept working.

If you follow the Blueprint, pick the right topic, implement my content creation methods, work to market your ideas so you build an audience, and follow proven money making methods, you too can become a success story.

Today I wake up and check my email to see how much money I made overnight.

It’s an amazing feeling to see emails like this continue to pour in day after day, month after month –

Notification Of Payment Received...

For this to happen to you, you need a blog and an email list and an audience who pays attention to you.

This is not going to happen until you start delivering value to other people.

That’s the true secret – become a source of value to others, and value will return to you.

That’s exactly why I wrote the Blog Profits Blueprint and give it away for free.

It’s some of the best value I have ever created, all in an easy to read (or listen to) report, ready for you to download now.

Get started today –

    Hello,

I signed up to get the report, but I never got the email with the link to download the report. Could you please email it to me? Thanks.

    All the best,

    Moshe

P.S. I also signed up for the bonus interview and my brother also didn’t get the report.

  • Hey Moshe,

You might want to try requesting the Blueprint again.

    Go here:

    http://www.blogmastermind.com/blueprint/

My email autoresponder company, AWeber, did some system maintenance about 12 hours ago that ended up going many hours longer than planned.

As a result some of the first few people to request the report may not have received their confirmation emails, and that might include you and your brother.

It’s definitely working now though, so if you request it again it should work (you can skip step two).

If it still doesn’t work for you, let me know and I’ll send you a copy directly.

If it does work, can you come back here and leave a reply once you get it so I know.

    Cheers, Yaro

    • Hi Yaro

I am having trouble in getting the blueprint as well.. i type my name and email for the blueprint and itsends me back saying that i am already a member! can you pease email it to me or at least tell me what to do

      Samia

      • Hi Samia – send an email to supportATblogmastermind.com and my assistant will get you a copy.

  • Moshe

    Hi there,

I tried it again and it worked. However, I get a link which opens up the PDF file directly in my browser. Is there a way that I can download the file onto my computer?

    Thanks and be well,

    Moshe

P.S. I look forward to reading this report. I’m also interested in your mentoring program – where can I find more details about it?

  • Hey Moshe – Just do a right click – “save as” – and you can save the blueprint to your computer desktop.

Or just open it in your browser and then go “File – > Save”

There are details about the mentoring program at the very end of the Blueprint and I’ll have more info for you over the next few days.

  • Ron

Sweet eBook! Nice work… I am learning tons as I am still a newby trying to find my way. Thanks for following up via email as well. I know you are busy and appreciate the courtesy. This is my new favorite blogging site.

  • Hi Yaro!

Thanks for sharing such a wonderful resource… can’t wait to get off work to really read it.. but browsed through some of it, its really good stuff.

    Great Job!

  • Hi Yaro,

I have just finished reading the blueprint, watching the video How I make Money Blogging, which is a great practical guide for monetising your blog. I have so many ideas that I can implement today. I am recommending this. This is a fantastic resource, you are making difference and showing a way bloggers can develop content rich sites, sharing with others and moving towards Financial Freedom

    Thankyou Suzie

  • I’m generally skeptical about most “make money on the internet” claims that I come across. However, from what I’ve seen so far, the blueprint has plenty of things in it that will be of benefit to me. I came across your material from the recommendation on Darren Rowse’s ProBlogger. Thanks!

  • Hey Yaro – just wanted to say, great job! I read the ebook from start to finish and it was full of great information. Whilst it didnt have as many graphics as your Rich Schrefen, I prefered it with the text (I suppose I’m used to reading blogs and taking in tons of information anyway).

Anyway well done again, keep us informed on the download stats, and I’ll be referring your affiliate program!

  • Your ebook keep me up late last night. It was a good read with lots of useful information, which is something that is getting harder to find on the internet these days

  • Hi Yaro – I love your blog blurprint. i received it at 3:44am but it was worth the wait. Thanks for sharing all of your secrets!

  • Yaro:

Fantastic book in all regards. I really enjoyed reading this well-written, organized, information-packed blueprint. I appreciate your no-nonsense, clear-cut template for how you created success for yourself as a problogger. Really appreciated you sharing your personal experience with the various approaches and tools. Tremendous value, very well done and a joy to read. It’s all about taking action every day. Thanks for the inspiration!

  • Thanks for all the hard work you put into this and offering the blueprint. I have scanned over it and as soon as I finish a couple of projects I need to work on to meet a deadline I will give it my undivided attention this afternoon. I try to communicate to the customers I do web development for how important blogging is. It’s not just a practice. It’s an attitude.

  • Neil

I received the link for the pdf but I also referred two friends and did not receive the link to the media download promised. What should I do?

  • Yaro – great job on the Blueprint. Lots of useful ideas and tips. I especially like the strategy vs tactics piece and the discussion on the compounding effect. In all a very useful tool.

    Thanks again!

  • Hi Yaro,

Thank you for publishing this free e-book. I am yet to fully digest all the concepts. Great content! I have been a subscriber to your weekly blog traffic news letter, for a few weeks now.

I started my “yoga, spirituality and life coaching” blog in late February ’07. I am just using AdSense for now, but I am looking forward to using some of the techniques you have suggested in your book after get some more content up on my blog. You have done a great job breaking up the concepts into easily accessible steps. Great work!

    Thanks,

  • Hi Yaro

Hey thanks! This is just what I’ve been looking for. As a newbie to blogging, I’ve found your information of tremendous help.

And now you’re giving me a free report with even better content – this is too good to be true.

But I can tell that you are in the habit of doing more than getting paid for (Napoleon Hill).

  • Yaro – this ebook was just superb! You can read how I read it during my hectic schedule today :)(http://julieannebonner.com/blog-profits-blueprint-by-yaro-starak/)

This was truly an amazing ebook. I’ve been getting really tired of reading the same ol’ same ol’ info about blogging, but when I saw Darren recommeding it, I knew it must be good.

You have given me several things: hope, excitement, knowledge and the feeling of success. Thank you so much for taking the time to write this. Now I just hope people will implement it so that you have the joy of hearing our success stories! :)

  • Yaro,

Great information and we get to see and hear you on video. If this doesn’t double or triple your site traffic… nothing will.

    Great Job!

  • Just wanted to say that you’ve done a superb job with the report. I’m a new blogger – 2 months – who gets your regular emails and find that virtually everything you have to say on blogging is helpful.

  • Thanks for the great information. Will put some review in my blog.

  • Yaro,

I think I was one of the lucky ones to receive your Blog BluePrints Profits yesterday and I have to say…WOOHOO!!! I am fairly new at blogging (however, I truly enjoy it) and found the report extremely well written and easy to understand and follow. I liked the way you laid out the information because it is simple to start implementing some of your ideas immediately and then adding on from there. I also subscribe to your newsletter which contains additional tidbits of great information.

  • Hi Yaro,
I just requested your ebook and am already exited about it after reading all the great comments above. 😉 Can’t wait as I’m at the newer stages on making money from blogging. Been doing it for 3 months and already see heaps of new $$$. But I’m eager to learn much more.

  • Blog Profits Blueprint…

The Blog Profits Blueprint is a free 55-page e-guide pdf on how to blog for profits. Written by Yaro Starak of Entreprenuer’s Journey, Blog Profits Blueprint gives step-by-step instructions and invaluable advice for those who are thinking of sett…

  • Yaro – killer stuff! I was thinking this would be high level but you delved into some key areas of how you developed your presence blogging and in the process created a nice income.

I hope you tend on turning this into a full fledged information product…

Any thoughts on what you would charge. I am waiting for the StomperNet videos and not the monthly deal. I can’t afford that.

I am thinking about joining your blogmastermind.

Thanks for setting up the affiliate program for this and using BFM – it makes it easier for us to promote when you do a great job in setting it all up for us.

Keep us posted on the backend products that come from this.

  • Hey Yaro.
Another suggestion – it would be quite cool if we could see how many people downloaded the Blueprint via our affiliate link, any chance of adding this?

  • Hi Yaro,

    I liked the book alot.

Lots of information clearly presented. And a fairly easy and readable style. Also free of the usual typo’s due to spell checkers which can’t distinguish words that are correctly spelt but incorrectly used. So either you are good at proof-reading or you got a real human to do it.

I’m still just starting out and so the only the earlier suggestions were relevant to me. It’ll be a while before advertisers are approaching me.

These suggestions gave me specific things to do which I am implementing. The suggestions were clear and do-able, not just hype but specific behaviours.

One improvement perhaps. Larger headings with sub-headings underneath, at least for the contents page.

    Overall a great effort.

  • Excellent work Yaro. If such information can be found in free book, then there is no need to find paid ones.

  • hh

    Hi Yaro
Nice book and I had read it in half an hour.It went smoothly down the throat. Specially liked the style of writing – it reads ‘honest’. I’m sure going to follow the weekly schedule of leaving comments on other blogs. I was wondering if you would write more on blogging for non-blogging audience. But then again I guess most of the rules still apply there as well.

  • Yaro,

Thanks much for your works. I downloaded and printed out for offline reading. As for me, It helps me not only in blogging but also in writing and marketing in internet. I mailed your book link to all of my friends bloggies, nearly 100. They all pleased and most of them have already downloaded your e-book. :)

Cheer and best wishes for your success!!!

    Myo Kyaw Htun

  • Akash

I went through the book. Have taken some notes and looks like I found this at the right time.

Alongwith the questions about how to do this ( making money from a blog ) I am also trying to find answers to some technical questions. Like

    1. Should I use wordpress and host it on a website or to start with a free blogger.com account
    2. Should I invest in a domain upfront or wait for a while before spending money in that.

Do you have any pointers for these ?

Thank you for such an informative resource and gotta love the free price :)

  • Hi Yaro, I also come from Brisvegas, and recently started a blog as a way of promoting my Cosmetic Medicine business, I was not actually aware when I started how powerful blogging was for marketing- it has been enormous. I am now currently tossing around ideas with a friend, looking to another blog, a new venture and he emailed me the link to your blueprint. Thankyou for sharing your experience and for outlining a strategic approach to “making money” from blogging.

  • Hi,

The PDF is a nice reading, with lots of useful tips. Thanks for taking your time to write that and share it with us! :)

  • Hi Yaro

I have read your Blog Profits Blueprint and have done a review of it on my site. I just wish I had this information when I started my blog last year.

What I like about it is that the information is useful not only to blog newbies but also for those who already have a blog. It is very easy to read – I read the whole thing at one go right after downloading it – but I will read again to further absorb what I might have missed out.

I will have it handy for reference.

    Cheers

  • Rey

    Hi Yaro,

I read through most of the blueprint. I didn’t finish it yet because I realized I started off blogging on the wrong foot. On my blog (http://jivefood.com) I feel like I was too concern with the quantity of articles rather then quality. I also realize it really isn’t focused enough on one main topic.

Reading your blueprint makes me want to start all over with my blog or delete the posts that I don’t feel are of good quality. What do you think I should do, start over or remover poor content?

  • Hi Yaro,

Great Report! I have been blogging for sometime now, even put up blogs with PLR content and so on. I have blog where I answer the questions received from my subscribers. But I have never gone beyond Google AdSense.

You have given great practical tips, which you yourself has used, minus hype and fluff. Whenever I read reports with great content I think of Rich Schefren and when I read the part that he is your mentor, I thought it could be none other.

I completely agree with you about pillar content and making people come back to you for more etc. But I have two questions for you:

    1. The competition to give free stuff is so fierce now-a-days that it costs you to give away free stuff.

By the time my free report reaches someone, they have already been offered four free videos, six free reports some of which can earn them $0.5 to give it away.

How do you make your free content get through to the person and make such an impression that is deeper than the others?

    2. I have not succeeded much in selling affiliate products. Or may be my list is busy downloading all the free stuff that they have no time, intention or money to buy anything. A new blogger would also find it difficult to get sponsors to review products, etc. without a good PageRank and Alexa ranking. Do you think the new blogger would be willing to spend two years (or more) just producing and giving away great content in the hope of monetizing the blog at a later stage?

Thanks once again for the superb content.

  • Thanks for the download! I haven’t quite finished the material yet, but so far the suggestions are great. I’ve signed up for a couple of the services you mention and I hope to be adding to my income soon.

  • I never could get the videos to play. This was frustrating. Maybe you should consider a different download format. I never have problems viewing videos, and did not want to take the time to figure out what was wrong. So, that was frustrating.

I like the charts. I have followed you for about 6 months now Yaro, so I have seen you progress. My only comment would be that you are less accessible than 6 months ago. You actually were pretty good about returning email back then.

But you seem to be chasing the buck and pushing products more these days. Guess it comes with the success, and having less time. It is good to see people succeed, but also is a shame to lose that personal interaction.

  • Yaro:

As I posted on my blog, this is the best free report EVER! I agree with Phil who said it is better than many of the $97 products out there.

Thank you for sharing your wealth of knowledge and your passion for blogging. From the bottom of my heart – thank you.

  • Erwin

    Thanks a lot Yaro!
After slowly read this e-book, a little light sparkling on my head. I’ve got to do this and that, right now! I’ve just realized that blogging could be another choice for making money. Cause i’ve been 4 months running my golf site with not much traffic. Cause no one help me making pillar articles for this site. Why not myself do that? cause i’m just a web master guy, not even a golfer…
Thanks again Yaro..just want to start write my pillar article right now.

  • Found it very informative and it did not take too long to read. Thanks for all the info.

  • Thanks for all the great feedback everyone. I’ve been going through it all weekend and it’s so nice to read.

To respond to Akash and all others who ask these types of questions –

Go with WordPress on your own domain for your blog as soon as you can afford it and get it set-up. That’s a no-brainer decision.

digitalnomad – I’m not sure why you are having issues with the videos. I’ve got them on a special video serving server so they should work. Maybe you were just having net connection issues at the time, so keep trying.

Rangoo – yes you are right, there is a lot of free content already out there. Unless you have credibility and friends who can help you by lending their credibility (like Darren did for me), it can be difficult to get people to read your free report even if it is brilliant.

What you need to do is write the best free report you can and work on building peer relationships so when you do release it you have lots of people to help you spread the word.

Once again, thank you all for the great feedback so far and keep it coming!

    Yaro

  • Yaro, you know I’m a big fan of yours, I read entrepreneurs-journey, smallbusinessbranding and all, and seriously this ebook is the icing on the cake! Well-written, relevant, interesting, loaded with valuable infos, come on, how could one not want to read it? I read it, and i’ll read it a again! It’s that good! Thanx a lot Yaro for sharing all your tips and tricks, and insights! :)

  • Great read Yaro!

  • As a new blogger I loved the ebook. Great info and the fact that you gave this away FREE was outstanding. I have paid for some ebooks where the sales letter was much better than the actual product.

    Thanks again!!

  • Hello!
I printed out your blueprint, sat down, and read it all..It took 30-40 min. :-)

I’m going to make my special pillar contents, and search for ‘the rivers’. In my contry (Korea), many ‘the river’ blogs are about IT or Web..

So, I’ll be ‘big river’ myself in 1-2 year later.

    Thanks –

  • Hi, Yaro,
Great ebook, I downloaded and read it yesterday and learned quite a bit. I´ve been blogging just over three months and so it is very helpful to have this kind of information, especially since it can take forever to find the bits and pieces searching around the internet on your own!

  • Yaro,
I found your e-book after someone used the share feature on facebook. I am almost done with it and love the content. As a new blogger I have posted 11 solid pillar articles that you talk about, and am working on the marketing of the blog!

Awesome content! What I loved most was the video showing us how you make the money from your blog. The video was worth 1000 words and 1000 pictures!

Thanks for all of your help!

    http://scottgbradley.blogspot.com

  • Yaro, you are on song at the moment son! The spirit of all the stuff (the blueprint, newsletters, posts, the whole box and dice) is irrepressible. There’s a quality to it that powerfully states that you right on your purpose. I can’t imagine how you are going to limit the mentoring program. I would start thinking of a contingency right now for handling all the people who don’t get it.

The blueprint is very good, it is the model for anyone thinking of a similar exercise the links and screenshots of the videos make it very rich indeed. My favourite part was the link to your business timeline, that was a powerful rapport building tactic.

Best of luck, I know you don’t need it.

    Regards Dean

  • Hello Yaro,

Thanks for your valuable e-book. it is very important for me.

  • Thank you for the opportunity to grab such a great resource. There is so much in there that I hadn’t thought about. I can now plan a whole strategy and know what I am doing.

    Congratulations on a great book.

  • Hi Yaro,
Thank you for such a clear and comprehensive explanation of blogging and how to attract traffic. It’s the first useful bit of information I’ve found on the internet. Most of the stuff out there is misleading – ie you can make money so easily and so quickly – or requires you to buy a few ebooks before you can find out what to do. I’ve realised my two blogs are not focused enough, so I am working on fine tuning them. I’m really glad you explained about the need for piller content, so that is my next project. And you’ve been very honest in saying that it will take time and hard work in the beginning.
So thanks for your generosity in setting out the process of blogging for those of us who don’t want to buy trillions of ebooks, only to discover that the content is poor or misleading.
By the way, I am a blind computer user and had some difficulty getting your blueprint as you didn’t have an audible link for the graphical image. What did work well for leaving this comment was your maths question. Is it possible to have something like that when accessing your downloads?

  • Hi Janet,

There is a plain text normal link on the same page that had the graphical link to the Blueprint so I assume that should have shown up as an audible link for you?

I’m not entirely sure what needs to be in place to create audible links?

Thanks for your kind feedback too Janet!

    Yaro

  • This is an excellent resource! I am thrilled that you would offer it for free, because it contains exactly the advice and direction that I needed! I especially liked the tactics for developing good content and the explanations of different advertising options. I will definitely adopt several of your key suggestions into my own personal blogging.

  • Hey Yaro,

Your Blog Profits Blueprint is very well written. You do a good job at covering the basis but also adding advice that even experienced bloggers and internet marketers can benefit from. I’m going to participate in your affiliate program so I look forward to referring others to this report, because it is something I would recommend even without being an affiliate.

Thanks for the Blueprint – I’ve had my blog for 3 months now and there are several ideas I can put into practice. But apart from anything else its nice to hear I’m largely doing things right! Again, thanks.

  • Great e-book, Yaro. It’ll take some time to digest it all. Learning a lot.

  • Yaro, I have now read your blueprint about twenty times! I lovingly printed it out and read it every chance I get. I am going to MEMORIZE your Blueprint.
I am going to switch webhosts, I would like to get a new hosting account with DreamHost. Please throw me your affiliation link with DreamHost so that this transaction can be a 100% WIN/WIN scenario for you and I!
Thanks man! You do spectacular work, I really enjoy your blogs, newsletters and websites! I am so excited about blogging now that I am internalizing your blueprint, that I can’t even get to sleep at night anymore!!

Have an EXCELLENT day!!! Have an EVEN BETTER one tomorrow!! :) :) :)

  • Mark – 20 times! That’s more times than I have read it!

Dreamhost is a good host for starting with, although if you get popular you will need to move to a more dedicated option.

  • Hey Yaro!

I have just finished absorbing your blogs blueprint. its has a tonne of stuff, and its really a good read from top to bottom. Can’t say i’ve read it 20 times like Mark did.. hehe.. but almost.. went to and fro your blog and the ebook a couple of times… and got lost sometimes from the links.. and you know what…

this 55 page ebook in itself is a journey… a recollection of your ongoing journey, and a small stepping stone as mine… thanks for such a great read.

and its time… time to take action. Actually i’ve started planning some pillar articles in my mind..I’m so excited i think i’ve got to stop everything i do and put it down on paper quick.

oh yeah, btw looking forward to blog mastermind…. any updates?

  • Hi Yaro!
Big thanx!!! Ur blueprint tells me everything I need to know to start my own blog.
Problem is, English is not my mother tounge, so is it possible to earn money from a blog that’s written in other languange (Indonesian)?
I heard that Google Adsense will not place ads on non-English site. Is this true?

    http://blogisuang.wordpress.com

  • Excellent!

A breeze of fresh air. No hype, no Adsense BS, no get rich quick nonsense.
Just plain facts, based on experience and honest work.
    That’s how it should be.
    Well done Yaro.
    Regards,

  • I have read this informative and “essential guide for money making”. And surprised how you could afford to give it away free?

I have gone through many sites, and most of the times, valuable informations were offered on some price. Can you tell me what the market price it would get, if it was for sale?

If you could tell me, I can qoute it in my next portings.

You did a great job. Keep it up.
I have trust on you, whatever training you would arrange at your “Mastermind Blog” it would be worth.

  • I’ve been writing a personal blog for just over two years now and have learned a great deal about the technicalities of blogging. The blog has also helped me loosen up my writing style and make it more personal.

What I’ve lacked is solid information about how to monetize my blog. I came across your blueprint through Darren Rowse’s ProBlogger.com, and am I ever glad that I did so.

I really like your balance of inspiration and realism. I feel inspired to act, while being realistic about what I need to do to make a blogging business – and I need to do this right now in my life.

I now know that I need to start a new niche blog to be a crucial part of the business. I may test out my ideas on my personal blog, but it Barnabas Quotidianus is not the kind of blog to make serious money.

  • Hi Yaro.

I’ve downloaded the book, finish reading it in one sitting and stright away implement the startegy and tactics.

Your writing has made me more motivated and more focus on creating small steps that will lead to bigger opertunities.

I even setup a challenge for myself as a strategy to build traffic to my blog.

  • Excellent report! Everything the beginner needs to seriously start blogging and also determine if blogging is for them. More importantly, it pointed the way to your blog for internet business. Business in general is a subject near and very dear to my heart. Thanks for the fantastic resource!

  • Yaro,

Excellent report! I have been blogging for almost 6 months now and have wanted to learn how to generate some income. Your book has inspired me to work hard at getting additional traffic and then focus my efforts on trying to generate some revenue. Thanks, and I will refer this to others.

  • Hey Everyone – thanks again for all the great comments, I appreciate each and every one.

A quick update on the release of the mentoring program – I’ll do a more formal blog post about this, but I’m slowly putting the final touches on some mindset audios I want members to have available as soon as they login.

They cover some of the core concepts I started to discuss in the blueprint and will augment the practical activities I instruct students to do through the e-lessons.

Hopefully sometime next week I can release the program to everyone!

    Yaro

  • Hi Yaro

Thank you for the Blueprint report. I have only been blogging for a couple of months, I am not out to make money at this stage, but hopefully to get in touch with sufferers of agoraphobia. You have given me some great ideas to have my blog noticed.

    Thanks again
    Ruby

  • What a fantastic report! Thank you Yaro for making this great resource available.

  • I read it all today. I could not put it down.

Yaro, thank you for making such a great resource freely available. Not only is your writing style engaging, but you explain complex ideas very well.

Unlike every other free download I’ve pulled from a marketing site, this one was not filled with self-promotional crap and “testimonials.” It was wonderful and filled with inspiring information. I’ve already gotten several ideas from it — without even trying!

You now have a new viral marketer. I’m going to make sure everyone I know downloads this blueprint!

    Thanks

  • Hi Yaro,

It is great that you distilled various aspects of blogging and business. I think it is very helpful for new people getting into blogging and even for those who have been blogging for sometime.

After watching the video that the e-book linked to I joined the text-link-ads and reviewme sites hoping that they might raise a little revenue for my site but I have to say that so far they’ve been useless in the extreme. If I had a small site I could understand it but we have over 9,000 members and have had over 20 million hits in the two years its been going – and I easily pull in 10,000 reads for my pillar articles so in theory I should be able to at least cover my server costs through advertising – which is all I’m looking to do, but even though I’ve already done much of what the article suggests which means my traffic is always pretty reasonable, all I’ve had is one link from text-link-ads. Most reviews from the reviewme site pay out $5 a time, which I wouldn’t entertain at all, so while the article is wonderfully optimistic and very well written, I’m inclined to think that it might be over-egging the pudding so to speak. I’ll keep following the advice for a little while longer but I am more than a little sceptical based on my experience so far. Those two sites sound great on the video – but selling one link at a profit of $7.50 isn’t a great reflection of the faith you put in them, I wonder if your faith in them might be slightly misplaced.

  • Yaro,

Fantastic report. I have been getting some good organic traffic from Google, but you have given me the best plan I have seen for building my blog traffic. Not to mention that I have begun to focus a bit more on the content. Oddly, I have some pillar content that is not on the blog. I’ll be fixing that!

There is so much to digest in your report that I will have to read it again, but I’ve already started applying it and already see results.

    Thank you!

  • yup..yaro.,your blog profit blueprint is so informative and practical. You revealed the great info that never reveal completely from other sources and tremendously amazed.Good job and well done yaro..you are superb..and best Gurus blogger.

  • Well, I have visited your blog for the first time. I was planning to increase my daily visitors to a 500 per day level within two months on my recently launched blog.
I am new to the blogging and hence asked for suggestion to materialise my plans to my friend HelloAshok.com. He in turn mailed me this interesting book.
It was great reading this book with all the marketing tactics explained step by step in one place. Thanks to you, with this help I think I can even surpass my goal!
But you should have mentioned in it that a blog needs certain minimum traffic to register at sites like reviewme.com and payperpost.com , as mine was rejected there.

  • Thanks Yaro for a stimulating and thought provoking read and the extra ‘How I make money” segment as well. I am currently in the process of building a training program based on marketing skills and believe that your insights into use of the blog as your primary website is something I will adopt as my MO. At some stage would it be OK for me to talk with you and use the recording on my own blog? You are definitely someone I will try to keep up with in the future! More power to your elbow!

  • Yaro, hi,

A great report – I actually posted a review on my blog and sent it out to my list with links back to your optin page. It was clear, easy to read, straightforward, fluff free and value packed. What would have been good, for me as a new bloggger, would have been a section that compared the main blogging systems – e.g. WordPress vs Blogger vs 1 or 2 other top systems – the relative merits of each and some pointers as to how to maximise the facilities provided by each.

Most new bloggers (myself included) probably won’t have their own blog running on their own site so will be looking for the system that best meets their needs or expertise level.

    Martin.

  • Great, great tips, thanks for sharing it!
I respect people like you, it took you longtime to gather the experience and share it later.
    good on you
    Cheers

  • Yaro, I don’t usually read these things but the audio version that you provided was a VERY nice touch. Some of us are just too busy to be reading these “reports”.

I have to say, I am so glad I digested this. It is really quite good and you sounded very professional. I learned a lot, it refreshed some old ideas and the information comes obviously from a professional.

It is a great guide for beginners and however you did it, it made me want to sign up for the mastermind program.

I would have liked to see more on blogging for business and branding (Future series?) rather than making affiliate revenue.

Overall, I was very impressed. Nice job mate.

  • A very thorough guide with some excellent tips. Definitely worth reading.

  • That’s a great resource Yaro. I already have a reasonably successful blog at http://mattstone.blogs.com, which has made it into the top 100 Aussie websites, but I’ve only just started to consider monitization options.

One of my concerns about monitization has been about the crassness of Adsense. You’ve opened up many new avenues for me to consider. And I think I’ll start chasing a few of those ‘rivers’!

  • CACHOW!!! What a great report. Yaro, you certainly over deliver in your audio version! I didn’t take in the written version, but I can’t begin to imagine what the course is like. I bet it’s fantastic.

You bring a fuzzy picture into alignment for sure. I couldn’t help but send out a link to all my friends. I would have felt like I was cheating them if I didn’t.

Thanks for being a giver. This whole thing is going to help so many people understand what really needs to be done if they want to be a successful blogger.

    Keep up the great work.

  • Yaro,

Great resource! I’ve heard/read most of it before but when you put it all together, it’s a killer pillar. The audio version made it all the better as I could listen to it while I joggle. Keep up the great work.

Sorry my comments are so late. It just took a while to read. I’ve been focusing too much on creating content!

  • Yaro,

I have read your e-book twice, and it has inspired me to change the direction my nascent blog was taking.

I have turned some of my shorter info posts into pillars, and made these articles easier to find by putting links to them in the sidebar.

Your follow-up strategy (asking people to comment on your post from your email list) really works well – that’s why I’m here!

    All great stuff!

  • AMAZING! Yaro, I printed off your eBook yesterday (not something that I usually take the time to do because it wastes so much ink) but I wanted to be able to take notes as I read it. Boy am I glad I did! By time I was done, my margins had all sorts of ideas scribbled in them, and I spent the better part of an hour just thinking about everything you said, even after I finished reading the book.

I have got a lot of ideas spinning around in my head, and I can’t wait to get started!

  • Yaro, I found your ebook enormously helpful. When authors give a free book, it is so often a bottom level funnel product, and while interesting doesn’t tell me much. Of course it’s not meant to because I’m supposed to get the real details in the paid product that follows. But your book was full of excellent material. I actually would have paid quite a bit for it. I also really felt it should be published hard copy. In September last year whwen I first caught on to blogging and hadn’t yet come across you, I went to all the major bookstores in Victoria and none of them had a book on blogging. I had actually been looking for Andy Wibbels BlogWild at the time. I’ve been telling lots of people about Blueprint and wrote some glowing words in Flying Solo this week in response to Melissa Norfolk’s article on blogging. So thank you for sharing so much with us all.
    Maree Harris.

  • Hi Maree,

Thanks for the great feedback and if you know anyone who wants to publish a hardcopy of the blueprint send them my way – I’d love to see that.

I will have to stop by flying solo again and say hello to Robert and Sam.

  • Hi Yaro,

the ebook was really helpful! Some of the things confirmed what I’ve read on Darren’s Blog and also some other blogs. But what I like was that everything was in one place now, one ebook. It gives a sense of which things to prioritize.

As a starting blogger, when reading 20 different posts, you would think all the 20 posts have the same top priority. In your ebook, I got a sense of what works and what doesn’t.

And 3 things that stuck with me were:
    1. Consistency is key
    2. You need pillar posts to keep the people on your site
    3. Monetization isn’t proportional to the amount of posts you write that week

    :-)

    Oliver

  • Hi Yaro,
Many thanks for your well thought out and informative report. There have been many reports offered purporting to be free which are then filled with advertising, and a complete turn off. This one is certainly different and refreshing. I will certainly be recommending your blog to others.

  • Dear Yaro..

Like what I have said in my private mail, your blueprint is just superb! I’ve seen many tips given by bloggers but yours is the best by far. I simply love your well defined blogging marketing and promotion strategies. The whole thing makes sense and I would definitely adopt those as my very own blogging strategies.

I knew you took some time to write that one down. Truly appreciate your time in doing it and thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience with everyone. :)

Hope that we can be good friends from today onwards, mate! Thanks again.

    Best regards,

especially the bit on pillar posts.
    Very informative.

It really brought together and consolidated so many of the questions that Ive had and have been thinking about.

  • I just finished the Blueprints ebook and it really put my past efforts and future dreams in a new context. You really simplified the key elements to success and nailed it perfectly. Thanks!

  • I just finished this 55 page booklet for blooging. It is very informative and helpful. I blog for fun and never thought about trying to earn any money. I liked the suggested topics and will probably refine my current blog to reflect more of cretive writings as a how-to instead of keeping it personal.

  • G’day Yaro,

Yup, I downloaded the Blueprint PDF.

The Rapid Reader looks interesting too.

It may take a day or two to get to the reading part, but in the meantime I have a question:

May I have permission to reprint your article (with attribution of course) The Key to Happiness at my web site, actsofpeace.net ?

The site is not yet public, so I put the article up tentatively in the Fire Circle Stories section where you could see it if you want.

I am keen to discover if the kind of content I enjoy writing will make marketable blog material. How many people want to read true stories and poems about acts of peace in the midst of tension and turmoil? Well, some do of course. I just don’t have a feel for the size of the audience.

Promoting as you do has not been my natural style. But I suppose it can be learned and realize it sometimes takes being a promoter to make an impact. So, I will see where the blogging road goes…

    Thanks for “being out there.”

    Cheers,
    Gary

  • Hi Gary, sure, go ahead, I think I already sent you approval via my helpdesk.

Good luck becoming comfortable with being “out there” :)

  • I’ve started blogging about a year ago and your ebook has opened my eyes on some issues such as monetization. Yes you are right adsense is not always good/profitable for blogs. Well, at least for me, the ctr is pathetic. I will see if Text-Link-Ads.com is better in the long run.

    Hi Yaro,

I read the blue print and found it very interesting and informative. The best thing about it was the easy to understand language(no jargons)
I tried my hand in bloging and had moderate success in drawing traffic. However, I soon lost interest. This blue print was just the kick in the butt I needed to start afresh. Congratulations for coming up with such an excelent report.

  • stu

Thanks Yaro, I got a lot of lesson how to blog as well as possible. Although I have not finished to read it yesterday.

  • This is great! I’m about to download it now, and just wanted to say thanks.

  • Blue print, excellent one. Feel pretty bad myself for missing it all this time even though I spend a good chunk of time surfing and blogging on the net. Thanks Yaro, thanks again.

    Raj

  • Thanks so much for the free inforamtion. I enjoyed reading it and it was a real motivator to get going with this. Thanks again.

  • yaro,

Great book. It was too easy dude. You took the obvious and pulled it together into a simple, easy to follow instruction set. Well, obvious may be the wrong word. We knew we should have been doing this stuff and just refused to. Now we can see that it really is the right stuff to be doing.

Thanks Yaro for getting back on the smart track.

    John

  • Scanned it and it looks pretty decent; covers the bases. I agree though that it spent too much time on fairly obvious stuff and not enough time on new stuff. I felt I had to work hard to sift through stuff I knew to find a couple of points that I didn’t.

Your course sounds interesting, but it needs to be broken up into modules sold separately. For those of us who already have a blog, a theme, and are fairly far along developing a brand, the first part sounds like it wouldn’t be useful. Might like to take the second part though, when I am a little more stable.

  • Hello Yaro

    thanks for your report.
    Very interesting.

My question is – how can I find the best category for a blog site. Is it only possible to have success if I chose a scpecific one ?
The point is, I live in Germany but I am searching for a category that I can offer indipendent of Germany. Is it still how to make money in the internet or how to make a good marketing way ?

I also think – why to make the “223th site” how to make money in the internet ? Then I think it might be boring to the people every time to find the same but I may be at fault.
What are e.g. the 10 main categories people talk over and over again ?
Is it sex, money, soccer/sports, tv, politic… ?

But I want to have a website which gives me the money, also with autoresponders as I heard by oliver pott, very successful system.
I want to be free in the choice of the place I can live, indipendent from where I have to do work to get money – that bothers me.
Perhaps you can make some proposals about.

    Thanks a lot
    regards

  • some more:
Sometimes I had a good idea but thought that this would be too stupid or boring or… for the people and then later i saw it at the internet and wondered.

I am also building other sites with new ideas but i still have to make them public in wide range that real money comes back. Then i see very simple sites and hear from the people hom much money they made and make still with it on with simple sites – so i can only say – it doesn’t play a role how it looks like… just have THE category the people are searching for at google or the niche. Its very bizarre. So I must now learn to think in another easy way but i am still wondering 😉 about (i wanted to study physics, but had to work same time so i had to stop studying). Then I think – ok, when these people can do it – I can do it x times again. It’s very queer sometimes. bye

  • Hi Yaro,

I got your Blog Profits Blueprint a month ago and read it straight away. I was totally blown off my feet! Here’s how it has motivated my efforts:

I’ve spent the last month doing (had I known all this stuff) what I should have done 9 months ago! I already had a couple of blogs but wasn’t doing much with them – they were attached to self-hosted websites where I was writing lots of articles (didn’t know then that they would turn out to be my pillar articles!). My problem was I wasn’t building enough links and so never got a PR for the blogs – the website homepage got it!

After reading your book, I realised that to boost the PR of a website (with a blog attached) and give a good PR to the blog as well meant either doubling the work (article submissions and getting back-links)… or make the homepage of the site the actual blog. Two birds with one stone!

I was stuck with my main blog (The Honest Way) as a separate page to the site because it was already established with a steady and growing readership and was already registered with PayPerPost and a few others, so I couldn’t mess with the URL.

So I decided to experiment with my other blogs of various ages, from a 4 month old one right up to three blogs I started after reading your book. I moved them to the homepage URL of their respective sites and started writing for them like my life depended on it!

My experiment is a month old now – and my new blogs are already building decent readerships. My established blog is building too. I’m hoping to qualify for a half decent PR with that one thanks to a lot of promo work and obtaining back-links.

I’m convinced the advertisers will come when I can show them a viable medium in at least one of my blogs – and more as the others mature.

So a big, big thank you for sharing your knowledge – it made a huge difference here!

    – Terry Didcott

I just finished reading your Blog Profits Blueprint and thought it was fantastic. I can’t wait to apply these ideas to my blog when I get it set up. Thanks for all this information that was easy to read and digest.

  • Hi Yaro,
The best world class e-book is “Blog Profits Blueprint”
    Thank you Yaro.

  • christine

Yaro, the Blueprint is a valuable and remarkably comprehensive document, very readable, very organized, on the topic of blogging and generating profit from it. Although it is an investment back into your own business, it comes across clearly that you were motivated by a sincere interest to create something of value and that you have the confidence that by giving it for free, you will receive its value many times over. I admire that spirit, as well as the quality and content of the writing. Christine.

I am very grateful that there are people like yourself who are helping poeple like me to negotiate this initially steep learning curve in developing an online business. I found this report very well packaged and very digestable.

  • Yaro,

The timing of finding your report couldn’t have been better! I was actually just writing a free report on marketing your blog and came across your report via Darren’s website. I read it at 3:00am in the morning! I’m going to print and read it agamin today because I’m learning some things and LOVE the breakdown of what will bring streams or rivers of traffic to your site.

You’ve helped me focus on the things I can do but have been delaying – podcasting and videos. I’m proficient enough technically to jump ‘some’ of the other techniques so I’m onto it!

Look out for me in Blog Mastermind – The Blogging Queen needs you as her mentor!! :-)

I read the blog profits blueprint. I found the amount of information provided to be very useful. Most of it seemed to be common to other sources I have read.

I did take great assurance in it. I am currently following all the steps listed for one of my sites. Given it has only been live for a short while, I am already making about $200 a month. I do look forward to a time when I can take a breather and make at least $1000 a month then I will be happy :)

Thank you for the terrific resources and the interview with Collis. Collis is a great and friendly person, and deserves all that Freelanceswitch brings.

I hope your guide can help others, and you to get more money.

  • Yaro,

This is a fantastic Ebook. I read it straight through right after receiving it. There are numerous great ideas in it. The book has me thinking about what my unique selling proposition is, and about producing pillar content to promote me and my blog.

Thanks for making such awesome information available for free.

    Sol Lederman

  • Yaro,

Thank you very much for making the Blog Profits Blueprint available. I’m just starting on a brand new blog and the information you shared is very valuable.

Unlike most other e-books that focus on the tactics of using adsense only, you covered the ‘big picture’ strategy which is great. It gives us a better idea of the overall direction.

And the additional monitization options you mentioned are wonderful.

I’m doing a “Traffic Generation Challenge” to see how fast I (new to blogging) can drive to my brand new blog, and your ‘Blog Profits Blueprint’ definitely gives me a lot of useful and practical tips.

I’m going to recommend it highly in my next post!

    Thank you!

  • Yaro: I was delighted to get your report, it was sent to me by a friend and the timing couldn’t be better! I am very impressed with your report it’s awesome, a bundle of information executed with style. Thanks, you have opened my eyes!

  • I finally completed reading the BluePrint. It was very informative. The reason it took so long to complete, be newbeebbie, I went to eack one of you links, listes in the Blueprine. While it took me some time to complete, The information was well worth the time I sent.

  • Really terrific, easy to follow information. What I like about it is your focus on quality content and hard consistent work.

  • All I can say is “Thank You, so much.” I just started this stuff about two weeks ago before realizing that I had no idea how to make blogs work. I was searching for information for two days before stumbling, luckily, on your report. Everybody else was talking about adwords and keyword advertising, etc. I couldn’t get the lowdown on blogging for affiliates–or, in general.
Being eager, I listened to the mp3 first. (Great idea, by the way) Am now in the second reading of your pdf.
Without a doubt, yours is the most complete information I have found on the topic. It’s to the point and explicit.
At least now I know what game I am playing. Thanks again. When I received your e-mail for comments, I was in the process of posting a blogspot called BLOGDON’T inspired by you.
(http://nono320.blogspot.com) I plan to link to this report on several of my sites. You have a fan! Four out of four stars!
    Thanks, again.

  • Hi,
I just finished reading the e-book. It actually took me about 24 hours, because of all the interruptions I had with the kids, etc. Plus, I wanted to actually “get” what it was saying down to my core, and not just understand it. I want it to be a part of who I am as a blogger–it was that good!

There was a lot of great nuggets of info in there, such as why people fail…that was cool! I found that I was doing those exact things, and I got why I was failing. Thank you so much for those!

  • Yaro, I’m so grateful to have received the Blogger Profits Blueprint – it was like manna from heaven! You see, I’ve just completed the basics of setting up my first Blog at age 69 & have been finding the ongoing intricacies of advertising, marketing etc difficult to sort out. One of my greatest drawbacks is not having grown up in the high tech. era. I’m rather a novice when it comes to computers, so programs often expect me to know how to do things about which I haven’t a clue (eg upload to my server).
You are obviously very conscientious & have done all the time-consuming work. The fact that you are prepared to share your research at no charge shows you have a great spirit. Congratulations! I’ve posted a note of gratitude on my Blog – you deserve much more …
    Val.

  • Absolutely excellent information! I now have a hugee list of ‘things to do’. Very inspiring and easy to read. Thankyou so much!

  • I don’t wanna thank you. I wanna thank your parents for giving birth to you! Seriously, you are the best thing in newbie blogging community since sliced bread and WordPress! Then again, maybe I wanna thank you. Thanks!

  • Great article….a lot of information for a beginner but I think the most important part of the entire thing was only a couple of sentences and that is to be successful you MUST take action.

All of the knowledge in the world will do you no good sitting there wishing and hoping.

Nice job overall Yaro…a great read.

  • Yaro,

Got my copy two days ago, printed it out & read it cover to cover. Got to say this is the best & most succinct guide I have seen about blog monetisation. So many ideas! But the starting point – what to blog about in the first place – is one that I continue to struggle with (my most current effort is linked above). I guess 2 or 3 blogs would be my absolute limit, but just one will do for starters.

Thanks for putting this guide together. It’s a cracker!

  • Kathy

This is not the first “blog for money” manual I’ve downloaded, but it is the best! It is very well written, with a ton of good info. I’m sure I will be re-reading it for weeks to come. Thank you!

  • Great report! I was expecting a two page summary but instead got a very comprehensive manual on blogging. Thank you for writing this and making it available for free. I read it end-to-end but stopped along the way to explore the resources you suggest.

  • Hi Yaro,

It is great to work with a real down to earth person for a change and your blueprint is really helpful for sure. I actually posted a suggestion for a challenge to other so called wealthy internet millionaires on their blogs as well. waiting to see if they are up to the suggestion which I personally think is superb. Hi Yaro

I am totally new to the blogging world and looking to start a home based business that I can operate from anywhere in the world. Blogging seems to fit the bill.

Your Blog Profits Blueprint explained very clearly what rewards lies ahead and outlined the hard work needed to achieve these.

I appreciate your honesty and look forward to following your advice.

    Thanks Yaro

  • Hi Yaro
I found the Blog Profits Blueprint very interesting reading. I particularly liked the Pillar information as I am trying to build content on my site. I also liked the information in the boxes on the side as this is great for reinforcement.

  • Hi all,
I liked the Blog Profits Blueprint so much I broke all my own rules and bough the Blog Mastermind subscription and joined the affiliate program.
Yaro, you made a product I can relate to. I think what sold me was the fact that you didn’t promise millions, but only a steady stream of income (which is what my online goals are).
I also thought it was definitely worth a review on my blog.

  • Rachel

    Thansk Yaro!

What a valuable resource!! cant wait to put it all into action…..

    Hi Karo –

I just read your pdf this morning, saved it on my desktop for future reference, and subscribed to you blog through my google reader.

I have been researching the blogosphere heavily for the past few months as I prepare to start my own blog. Your pdf has honestly been the most informative, and helpful piece of literature I have come across… so thanks!

I think I have a great start on writing my pillar content, and have become acclimated with blogger.com, which I plan on using (unless you have a better suggestion?).

Do you have any advice and/or suggestions for creating a great layout or template design in blogger? I have a very minimal understanding of html (basically, I can copy and paste code), but would like my theme to be unique.

I would appreciate any help you could provide on this.

Thanks again for this extremely insightful document.

  • Hi Yaro,

I downloaded and read the original document way when. I was into IM then and didn’t get very far.

I realised afterward it wasn’t because of the information but more for the fact I was trying to get started in something I had no passion about.

I have a martial arts club – something I do have a passion about – and have decided to get back online blogging as a way of getting more clients. Do you think your mastermind would be a good fit for such a site?

    • Hi Rezbi,

A blog is brilliant at getting clients to a local business like a martial arts club.

It could also be used to sell digital versions of your martial arts training. You could record classes and sell them online.

That is definitely an option for you!
