I just realized that I’ve been working on various internet projects for years. I haven’t stuck with a single one until now. That first $10 is so tough because when the money isn’t flowing, the inspiration tends to fade. Seeing this and reading the comments just reminded me how important it is to keep fighting through all the obstacles because the rewards are great once you break through.

I thought about joining, but I’m currently working on a project (that also has already made me over $10 online), so I did not join this one. I would have loved to hear all the advice and try it out.

There’s a funny part in the video on the site, that I hadn’t even noticed at first. Ed talks about the 30DC and the date change from July to August “which is really cool, because August actually HAS 30 days.”

I only noticed this because I was reading Problogger’s “31 days to build a better blog” today…and thought “but…August only has 30 days, or …”

Anyway, I would love to hear some of the experiences of the participants of this program.

I have a blog about Massive Online Games, and recently changed my theme. As part of this I got rid of the adsense which had made only about $30 over the last eight months, and some other banners. In their place I put just three text links to some game guides . I had given up on monetising the blog and expected maybe to make a few dollars.

As well as that I decided to see if I could improve my readership with a small Stumbleupon campaign. I paid up sixty dollars with a five dollar a day spend for a hundred visitors a day.

Fourteen days later, I’ve not only made my first ten dollars. I’ve made my first four hundred dollars. What a hoot!

A 30 days challenge is a wonderful idea. Getting you site to make 10 dollars is not easy in the first 30 days. I just started a new site. you article has made me take the challenge.

The 30 day challenge sounds way cool. It is all about taking the first step – and as we all know that is often the hardest step to take. Cool idea.
