I do have to say, though, Yaro, that the show was anything but ad-free! Every presenter had a slight variation on their normal url plastered across the screen, and I’d put money on those domains being redirected to affiliate urls… Not to mention the fact that you can’t watch it without a black ‘ads’ band across the bottom and several other linked in buttons, banners etc on the viewing page. I’d be pretty sure Joel’s already got at least his production costs back in affiliate commissions since most of the presenters had high ticket items on offer.

That said, kudos to him for coming up with it, and I guess you can’t expect anything to be ad-free anymore (even the back of toilet doors these days!) One thing you can’t say is that he doesn’t know how to monetise! Congrats to everyone who got on, even if I wasn’t one of them, and yes, I’m backing Jaime too… As a fellow cubicle slave, all I can say is: You Go Girl!

I agree with Blaine that the sales page pitch just didn’t strike a cord with me, whereas charles came off more fun and I related to that more seeing thats my personality. Depends on the people they get thier product infront of and where they are at in thier business.

Just to clarify… I promoted Jaime on Wednesday and will promote Charles today. Joel actually requested two separate promotions. I haven’t picked a favourite.

That’s a good point. I think more Internet marketers may promote Jaime’s product because of the potential for back-end affiliate money. If I am not mistaken, Charles doesn’t have a back-end offer or does he?

Charles’ product is definitely more unique.

The question as always comes down to who get their product in front of more eyeballs and convince those eyeballs to buy.

I think Jaimes product will appeal more to beginners and Charles more towards a specific niche. With Joel’s audience that means Jaimes product will probably sell more copies. It will be interesting to see the results.

Jaime’s sales letter just didn’t do anything for me. I’m used to hypey long form sales letters, but I just couldn’t get myself interested in it. The book itself sounds like a good read, but her sale of it just didn’t draw me in. She certainly has the “sex appeal” aspect going on, though; I think that she should have had the cover of the book much farther up the page than she did.

I haven’t decided yet if I am going to buy Jaime’s book, but I definitely won’t be buying Charles’ DVD right now. I do not have any near future plans for video. I eventually will want to work with and will probably come back and look at it in a few months or a year or whenever it happens to be, but at this point I just don’t have a need for it despite the great sales letter.

I like both Charles & Jamie, and I think Charles is a really cool guy but I just can’t see him working with JC. Joel is too much of a traditional Internet Marketer.

Personally I like the web 2.0 way of doing things, I despise long sales letters etc so I’m kinda rooting for Charles but I like Jamie too, and anyway she had the guts to stand by her values and say NO to eating worms!

I don’t know how she manage to get those names interviewed but it shows that indeed she got the talent to be the next internet “M”.

Stupid amount of bonuses? Crap? Well, worthwhile for the price of a book.

I’ve just been loving the show and I think it’s awesome that Jaime’s from Toronto too . Looks to me like they’re both winners because I’m sure they’ll make enough from their products to decently propel themselves on to the next project.

I’m going to buy both products I think. I’ve done a few, very bad, videos and think it’s fun and would love to know how to do a better job. Also, I enjoy reading and since I’ve watched every episode of NIM I think it would be really neat to read the ‘behind the scenes’ version. Pretty smart of Jaime to keep such good notes.

Last week my vote was on Charles to win but now I just don’t know… seems like they both have a very good chance.
