Funny how some common tasks in our lives (like birthday gift shopping) can turn into something adventurous like starting up a company. Thank you for sharing your experience…it is very reassuring for others trying to get into the same boat.

I think your site looks great, visually. It also seems to have a solid foundation in place to allow it to adapt quite easily in the future, or to respond to user recommendations should they arise.

The only thing I think it lacks at this point (and I’m no expert, just a regular Joe) is a separate page for “How does this all work”. I know you have a FAQs section, but for me, that took a little bit of digging around. I like seeing a more prominent link to FAQs/How does this work pages, especially with businesses that I’m not too familiar with.

Mike, this was a very informative and inspirational post. Thank you.

I always enjoy reading entrepreneurial case studies such as this, because it provides you with the much needed impetus to look at some of your own ideas seriously. Also, there is much to be learnt from the experience of others who have already set out to do the things you are still planning on doing.

When I opened the site I immediately thought “I wish I’d come up with that!” This is a fantastic site. I also see where it could be a great promotion tool for niche bloggers by helping out as experts. I’ve gone ahead and signed up and can’t wait to start adding great products.
