I am a new blogger and it was a good lesson for me. Thanks for sharing your ideas. I just thought to post the blog. But i was not interested to do the blogging and i dont even know the topic i am going to write. But now i got a good idea and topic for this year 2007.

Hi Blaine I have always respected and benefitted from your work on the forums at Blog Mastermind, so many thanks. I have just written my first retrospective after just 3 months, during which I have learned so much from Yaro’s lessons and mentorship. Blogging actually taight me another side of life. I can tell my employer to kiss my behind, they helped to make me a future soon millionaire , by firing me back in August 2007, post daily, but not too much. Additionally, blogging teaches you to be consistent and to stay focused on the prize, because this is your own business and every effort is put into you, so you know you will work HARDER for yourself, because you rely on you…:-)

Wow, you just gave me a good idea of what to post next in my blog. I was thinking about writing a post about how my blog was in 07, but you just gave me that little push to do it. I’m a new blogger by the way and I write about teaching people how to drift. I just started my blog about 3 months ago and I came to your site hoping for some inspiration, and I think I you’ve help not just me but a lot bloggers as well about how to review their blogs. It’s nice to see a post of yours on Yaro’s blog as I’m a member of Yaro’s Blog Mastermind community and I always appreciate the help you provide me and others in the community.

This is a very nice article. Thank you. I wrote a retrospective piece of sorts for my blog here:

My blog is brand new so I don’t have a lot of historical posts to write about (although I do blog almost every day) so I focused on setting the tone for what I wanted to deepen in my blog in 2008 and what directions I think the blog will take next year.

I like this retrospective post idea, especially for sharing with newcomers to the blog what’s given the blog the most “life”. And, I agree that a retrospective post helps to foster community.

I just looked up my post count – 83. Maybe I’ll do a post-focused retrospective.
