Hi Yaro

Thanks for the mention. I appreciate it.

One thing I thought a lot about before this launch was the 'sales letter'.

I'm painfully aware of people's dislike of the lengthy hyperbole in many product sales letters. I completely understand that this style of promotion has been tested and proven to produce the optimum conversion rates.

However, I'm not convinced of two things...

Firstly, that this style of communication is appropriate for all marketing, in my instance people who are already business owners or marketing managers in businesses.

Secondly, that this method is appropriate for all countries. I'm inferring that it is my feeling that it may be best for a largely US audience, but if your target market is likely to reside in another country, perhaps another approach is appropriate.

Anyway, in weighing up those considerations, and not wishing to deviate too much away from a tried and tested formula, what I decided to do was introduce a floating menu to make it feel more like a traditional website as well as trying to reduce any overstatement in the heading.

I'd be interested to hear people's opinion on whether or not this has a positive impact.

Anyway, thanks again for the mention and safe journey back.

David

The thing to watch here is that you have 2 BIG guys launching close.

I'm VERY curious to see Product Launch Formula because I wanna see what Jeff comes up with to change the "old" format - it's done and I think as close to dead as it can be.

I purchased Rich Schefren's Business Acceleration Program about 3 months ago, which is a comprehensive DVD, CD and workbook collection of a conference that took place last year. It's an amazing collection of material.

Now he is offering this year's conference, with different presenters (I'm especially looking forward to watching Paul Scheele in this year's program after watching and studying Patricia Hutchings in last year's). And this year includes Jay Abraham. I figure I have a few month's worth of learning especially with everything else I'm doing, including Yaro's outstanding Blog training program Blog Mastermind and Stompernet SMARTS.

Rich's program is selling at a bargain basement price until midnight tomorrow (Feb 29th), the price is so low, I couldn't pass it up.

I need to retire soon so that I have time to do all this stuff for real full time!!

I'm launching my first product before the end of April and I've heard great things about Jeff Walker's Product Launch Formula so I'll definitely be checking v2 out.

Cheers...Graham
