If you are reading this via a web browser you can see that the new Entrepreneurs-Journey.com design is up.

There’s probably quite a few bugs since we also did a server move as part of this redesign, so I’d appreciate your patience while we fix any issues.

I’ll go through and explain some of the new features as soon as everything is working correctly.

Stay tuned!

Wow Yaro! I came by today to do some reading and was surprised with the new design. It looks really great! Congratulations, can’t wait for the walk through.

I like it. I found the old design a bit crowded. (On the other hand I’m pretty content focused so it never stopped me reading it.)

The photo of you next to blog profits blueprint I think has you looking a bit crazed. I think it’s great.

For those of us who already subscribe, do we get a copy of ‘How to Start and Internet Business” too?

I think it looks great so far. HUGE improvement over your old design. The old one was getting kind of dated.

    Who did this design?

    Hey Yaro

I like the new look, do you have someone who designs your sites, or did you do it yourself? I’m looking for some excellent, trustworthy designers. Thanks!

However, no matter design you use, the main value is your content. period. Even if you design yours like Google’s official blog (plain and boring – sorry, Google!), your content will out-shines your design.

    Cheers!

Good Stuff, Yaro. The old design was fine, but I think this one is a step up.

I especially like that the Blueprint is above the fold now.

Really, really awful design Yaro. I love your content, but thank god for RSS readers. For being such a forward thinking techie I’d think you’d really be up to snuff design-wise. This is sub-par bud. Believe me, I don’t want to be saying this stuff but I can’t help but be honest and I hope you can appreciate that.

:-D I was thinking that your site was “hacked” when I see strange messages and when it was redirected to a sub-domain in another domain.

    Great design Yaro.

Excellent redesign, Yaro! I really like it. I’ve been reading your first-class blog for at least a year and a half. I have learned a lot from reading your informative and entertaining articles, and now I’ve learned something else: What a professional blog redesign looks like when it’s done right.

This is a first-rate blog, keep up all of your excellent work!

ewww.. I always liked the tabbed look you had going. Your olddesign looks professional, this one looks like a cheap web 2.0 template you downloaded off some free resource site. not impressed.

Nice! I prefer this less cluttered re-design. The new logo is a nice touch too (don’t remember seeing it before). Only maybe the white in the ‘EJ’ tends to blend too much with the lighter orange, and could probably use a fine darker orange outline.

To whoever did the design tweaking: Good job!

Looks cleaner and nice. Definitely more ‘marketing friendly’. I think that’s the main purpose of the upgrade, as design wise it’s not a big change. Still great.

Noticed that some url addresses for some of the archives are not working properly. When I clicked on one article, it shows another one. Though the numerical ‘category’ is the same. Eg. http://www.entrepreneurs-journey.com/562/article-i-want-to-read actually goes to http://www.entrepreneurs-journey.com/562/unrelated-article-i-wasn‘t-looking-for

Hope it helps with the de-bugging. Thanks for the great content.

Great new design Yaro. It’s a modern look und it’s much clearer than the old theme.

Can you tell me, which plugin or script do you use for the small grey and wide banner at the very top?

Thanks for all the encouraging comments everyone (even you design haters – as always, you can’t please all of the people all of the time – though I expect it’s more troll behavior than anything else). I’m glad the majority like it.

We are still working through bug fixes (especially that URL pointing to the wrong articles one) and I’m uploading my ebook on how to start an Internet business that goes free to every RSS subscriber later today too.

I’ll make a post about that once it’s live.

Would U like to using Brian nested Comment, I think that should be more interactive for reply comment than using ‘@’….
oh ya, is the design is created by your self ?…. I don’t see any copyright . It’s cool design ….

I like this new design much better, Yaro. I didn’t care much for the old one, and I read your blog _in_spite_of_ the design. This one might actually make people read it _because_of_ the design!

I like the old design better. It was more… you…

This one does look like a free template you can download… It is easier to read and less distracting, however.

I would probably have the designer work more on getting it to feel warm… How would you do that? I just can’t put my finger on it, but it I feel it needs to feel warmer.

Looks Good Yaro, I haven’t read through all the comments so this bug may have been pointed out, but in Safari the whole sidebar appears below the rest of the content – still on the right hand side, but below everything.

    Hi,

For me the phrase ‘re-design’ when used in reference to a website or blog, usually marks the ‘jumping the shark’ moment, the point at which quality of content is sacrificed in pursuit of profit.

However in your case, you and your designer seem to have focused on useability issues rather than packing the ads in.

So overall I’d say your new layout is looking good, and it’s congratulations to you and your team.

    Harry

I don’t know whether or not it’s my widescreen monitor, but there’s a lot of type- printing-on-type in your header and sidebar so I can’t really read what’s going on.
