I don’t know whether or not it’s my widescreen monitor, but there’s a lot of type- printing-on-type in your header and sidebar so I can’t really read what’s going on.

Hi,

For me the phrase ‘re-design’ when used in reference to a website or blog, usually marks the ‘jumping the shark’ moment, the point at which quality of content is sacrificed in pursuit of profit.

However in your case, you and your designer seem to have focused on useability issues rather than packing the ads in.

So overall I’d say your new layout is looking good, and it’s congratulations to you and your team.

Personally i like your design since the first time i saw it, but somehow it just looks tiny sometimes. With this new design i am sure your readers will feel more comfortable and spend their time longer than before reading your high quality posts..

Personally I liked the look of the other Entrepreneurs-Journey design better, but as long as the information continues to be high level as usual I don’t think a redesign will deter me from reading! Cheers!

I like the old design better. It was more… you…

This one does look like a free template you can download… It is easier to read and less distracting, however.

I would probably have the designer work more on getting it to feel warm… How would you do that? I just can’t put my finger on it, but it I feel it needs to feel warmer.

I agree with the other comments I like the new look. I like really structured design that divides different pieces of content so my brain doesnt have to work to hard. Good work.

Would U like to using Brian nested Comment, I think that should be more interactive for reply comment than using ‘@’….

Thanks for all the encouraging comments everyone (even you design haters – as always, you can’t please all of the people all of the time – though I expect it’s more troll behavior than anything else). I’m glad the majority like it.

We are still working through bug fixes (especially that URL pointing to the wrong articles one) and I’m uploading my ebook on how to start an Internet business that goes free to every RSS subscriber later today too.

I’ll make a post about that once it’s live.

Looks cleaner and nice. Definitely more ‘marketing friendly’. I think that’s the main purpose of the upgrade, as design wise it’s not a big change. Still great.

Noticed that some url addresses for some of the archives are not working properly. When I clicked on one article, it shows another one. Though the numerical ‘category’ is the same. Eg. http://www.entrepreneurs-journey.com/562/article-i-want-to-read actually goes to http://www.entrepreneurs-journey.com/562/unrelated-article-i-wasn‘t-looking-for

Hope it helps with the de-bugging. Thanks for the great content.

Nice! I prefer this less cluttered re-design. The new logo is a nice touch too (don’t remember seeing it before). Only maybe the white in the ‘EJ’ tends to blend too much with the lighter orange, and could probably use a fine darker orange outline.

To whoever did the design tweaking: Good job!

ewww.. I always liked the tabbed look you had going. Your olddesign looks professional, this one looks like a cheap web 2.0 template you downloaded off some free resource site. not impressed.
