It’s My Birthday

Just a short note today before I go run out and play (I’ve been told I’m not allowed to “work” today).

It’s my birthday! I’ve just turned 29, which apparently is the ideal age. Old enough to know better and still considered young. Go figure.

Apparently whenever someone asks your age you should say you are 29. At least for this year, I won’t be lying.

I received a present when I woke up this morning – a helicopter!

It reminds me of the first time I tried to drive a stick shift.. if it hadn’t been so stressful, it would have been hilarious. Your “first” was much less stressful – just plain funny. It was especially great when it dropped over into the neighbor’s yard. Priceless.

    My younger brother Bart (You met him at Dot Com Pho) got a helicopter this year and he flew it up in the air so high that the wind took it and carried it a few hundred feet somewhere and he lost it. :) He had to go buy another one.

    Was contemplating buying a similar helicopter that comes as a pair so that you and your friend can dog fight with them.

    After seeing your video, you may need some practice before you start any dog fighting with your friends.

    Yeah, flying those RC helicopters can be quite hard. I tried playing once. It was my nephews and ended up broking it (crash landed to a pavement just outside my sister’s house). :)
