With so many coaching sessions/seminars/ebooks and all that I find it increasingly hard to decipher which is a worthy investment, because of that I haven’t chosen which to invest in yet, but your reviews will certainly help me, so thanks!

Niels – Yes I do use Google’s search on this blog. I think the problem you are having is an indexing issue. A sitemap is a good way to help, also publishing content more frequently so Google’s bot comes back more often to index your latest posts.

Luca – My blog design is custom work so you would probably need to employ a designer to get something similar done. If you just want a larger font type then a little CSS tweaking should do it for you.

Mary – Either use a fake name, or publish under a brand/business name instead. Making up a fake identity can work well – like what Manolo the shoe blogger has done.

Yeah but aside from Yaro, you will still get bombarded even from within a membership program with upsells and other “great offers”. the problem here is that we aren’t being thought internet marketing, instead they are using their marketing tactics on people like us. its disgusting.

There is a benefit to the coaching provider is well. Instead of a one-time pop for a single purchased e-book. They see recurring revenue through an ongoing mentor program. my reservation with these programs lie in the constant up selling and the MLM mindset. Don’t get me wrong, if I knew one that was truly worth the money then I would likely subscribe. The problem is that I have no clue which one of any mentoring programs would be worth the time and money.

I have seen more and more of these popping up lately. Shoemoney just released a tools membership type website and PPC Coach is being used a lot lately. I think the membership and coaching type websites will replace e-books completely which is a good thing because you can at least stay updated instead of getting a book that is already outdated.

one of the most irritating thing i find here are the “this post is great, or another great post” comments. the aim here is just promotional or link juice. if you have some opinion of the current topic, no matter even if it is not in aggrement(i have done it and i am sure yaro wont mind it), you post that. i think high time people like yaro, darren should just prune out these kindm of comments. if you like the post, read it enjoy it and just shut up.

Hello Yaro

I got a question which is not really related to this blog item.
These days I am trying to set up a search functionality like you have. If I am right you use Google adsense search? I also implemented it in my blog although if I type in a recent item I posted on my blog, it’s not indexed. To solve this issue I though xml sidemaps where the solution but still… my search results are a week behind… :S

Can you give me advice on this issue?
