I’m writing this from Manhattan New York, and it is an AMAZING place. I’ve been once before, but this time I’m in control of my trip (not a tag along for a two-family trip), plus I’m in a slightly better financial situation, so it’s like I’m a kid in a candy store who just got his allowance.

I’ve taken quite a bit of video footage as I wander the streets, which I’m going to edit together and publish on the blog in a series of New York videos (I’ve got an interview with Ed Dale in there too, who I met at the 30 Day Challenge meet-up on the evening of the day I arrived here). I’ll hopefully have a chance to stitch the first one together tomorrow.

Blog Mastermind Affiliate Bonuses

There is a deadline coming up tomorrow that I wanted to quickly let you know about before it passes.

I’ve been keeping a close eye on the affiliates who are promoting Blog Mastermind. Many of them have offered fantastic bonuses if you join my coaching program via their affiliate link.

However there’s a catch - most of the bonus offers expire at the end of August 2008 - tomorrow (Sunday USA time) is your last day to claim a bonus.

As even more incentive to join, the Aussie dollar continued to slide further during the last few weeks. In case you can’t remember, the Conversion Blogging video explains my system for combining blogging with a traditional email marketing system to create a $100,000+ Internet business.

With the success of Blog Mastermind I’m in need of someone to help with the editing and production of audio files. This role includes -

1. Taking the raw recordings of teleconferences, audio recordings and the audio component of videos, and editing them into a production level MP3. This will include adding intro and out-tro music, balancing the volume of voices and minor edits to remove unnecessary words.
2. Coordinating with transcribers to have text versions of audio and video created.
3. Uploading files via FTP to the host server.
4. Minor page creation with WordPress to add files to membership areas.

The person right for this job must be speedy with email communication and have enough sense to edit audio files without needing supervision.

If you know how to use Audacity, GarageBand or any similar audio editing programs this might be the job for you.

The job is a contract role and pays by the hour. Expect anywhere from 1 to 20 hours per week, with significant fluctuation. I’ll also include access to my membership sites for the person who gets the job.

Here’s my explanation for the change…

I said I would update you on the status of the fast action bonuses you receive if you joined Blog Mastermind today and were one of the first 100 people to do so.

Unfortunately I didn’t think we would get to the first 100 so fast - we made it there shortly after lunch time, after a 10 AM start. That was quick and I’m thankful we have so many great new students in my program.

However, what this means is that all of the people on different time zones to where I am presently (Toronto, on Eastern North America time) never had a chance at the bonuses. They woke up, got their email about Blog Mastermind opening, and were already too late.

I’ve already had one person from New Zealand complain about the problem.

Now, as an Aussie myself (I know I sound like a strange Hybrid-Aussie-Canadian - blame the parents for that one! - I was born in Brisbane, Australia), I totally understand what it is like to miss out on things because of the time difference.

So, because of this and because I’ve realized it’s crazy-hard for me to figure out exactly who made the top 100 cut-off I’ve decided to make the deadline a full 24 hours from when the doors opened.

My email system has a time stamp on all emails, so as long as your order confirmation comes in to me with the time stamp within that 24 hour period, you qualify for the bonuses.
