Free Marketing Makeover teleseminar on March 29th

Online marketing experts Alex Mandossian and Rick Raddatz are leading a free teleseminar looking at how to give your website a marketing make-over if it is underperforming. The teleseminar is free to join, you just need to give your email address. I suspect of course there is a nice product you can buy which you will learn about at the end of the call too, but there is no obligation.

Alex Mandossian is one the most prolific Internet marketers so I have no problem recommending his stuff. Outside of the late Cory Rudl, I hear Alex’s name mentioned more than any other Internet marketer, so if nothing else he’s great at marketing himself!

You can find the details for the free call here - Free Marketing Makeover Teleseminar

9charities.org

9charitiesI’m a member of a really cool blog network called 9rules (or community as Mike Rundle calls it), and this community has just launched it’s latest project to leverage the talents of the individuals in the network to help others.

9charities.org is a simple idea. Within the 9rules Network we will select 9 charities every year and build their web presence and provide hosting. 9rules happens to be filled with some pretty top-notch designers so it’s good to see the talents being used to help others. I for one am all for more initiatives like this coming out of the blogging community.

Article Submission Project

For those who enjoyed my recent article - Is Article Marketing Worth Your Time? - you will find this case study over at Blogging My Pursuit worth watching.

Article Submission Project

This will be an ongoing project for as long as it takes to get a good picture of which article directories are the best to submit to (based mostly on traffic generated.) Then, I’ll make a top 25 list of the best to submit to.

It should be interesting reading to see how well the different article directories perform at generating traffic in a live case study.

Blog Design Does Matter - Lucky Mom Launch Proves It

Lucky MomLet me ask you a question - when you first launched your blog did you have 12 people make comments on your very first entry? I didn’t.

I just found a new blog that did, and man, I am impressed. It’s called Lucky Mom. Go take a look and I think you will know why this blog has enjoyed such a successful launch. It is beautifully designed for the niche it is targeting and I believe because of the design it will very quickly garner an audience.

I’d love to see a case study follow the growth of this blog. I think it’s a perfect example of how to create a profitable blogging enterprise. It has so much going for it -

A) It is visually appealing
B) In a fantastic niche that’s ripe to make money once the traffic builds (think affiliate products and AdSense)
C) It starts off day one with a comment community ready to go

Not to mention that the author, Lucky Mom Kristine Watson, can simply blog about her life each day as a mother to create content that I suspect will attract a solid readership. No doubt many new mothers and fathers will be following this one and as long as the articles keep coming the audience is going to spread the word with little need for any proactive marketing. Heck I’m even linking to it now and I have no interest in the topic at all, I just admire the design and business potential. Go Lucky Mom!
