Update On My Comment Policy
Recently I’ve received comments to this blog that have mentioned or alleged that the people I have interviewed in podcasts or whose products I recommend have been involved in malicious or inappropriate behaviour. In two instances now I have deleted such comments.
Because of this I am posting this notice to update my policy regarding comments made to my blogs. Note this policy is purely of my own making and if you don’t like it, too bad!
If a person leaves a comment that infers, alleges or directly accuses a person of doing something wrong, illegal, or inappropriate and such comment provide no evidence to back up the accusations, at my discretion I will delete the comment. It will depend on the severity of the accusation and the person(s) accused but if I think you have made an unfair statement without backing it up with concrete evidence it will be deleted.
This applies especially if you do not have the courage to leave a real name and email with your comment.
Some will not like this policy but since I control this publication, I make the rules. If you don’t like them, don’t leave comments and don’t read my blogs.
