Recommended Links & I’m off to Celebrate My Birthday
Thursday was my 28th birthday (thanks for all the well-wishes everyone!) and this weekend I’m having a BBQ with friends to celebrate. In the meantime I have some recommended links I’ve been saving up. There’s some real gem resources in this list that I expect you will enjoy…
Recommended Links
- Alan at The Marketer’s Podcast has started up his podcast interviews again and has come back with a bank, interviewing Perry Marshall and Ari Galper in recent weeks.
- John Reese (income.com) interviewed Jeremy Shoemaker (Shoemoney) and you can get the MP3 directly from this post – Reese VS. Shoemoney (Round 1). It’s a great audio covering all kinds of topics related to make money online, blogging and affiliate marketing. The two guys carry on a conversation that we get to listen in on and given the calibre of success these two have had, you get what you would expect – some amazing insights into how they do what they do.
- My friend Will Swayne is looking for a full time web developer. If you can work in Brisbane you might be interested in this job.
- Bestseller Interviews (Jon Morrow) targets marketing genius Seth Godin with ten questions.
- Paula Mooney has updated her list of blogger salaries to include general webmasters, domainers, affiliate marketers and content scrapers – essentially a list of some of the highest earning web based entrepreneurs today.
- I was featured in a podcast interview about how blogging can help you sell books courtesy of Kim from AudioWorkshop.MarketAbility.com.
- Bobby Walker from the Niche Blog Affiliate Profits, one of my sponsors, has just released his product of the same name as his blog that you can check out here – www.nicheblogaffiliateprofits.com/. I haven’t read my copy of his product yet so I can’t tell you whether it is good or not (it’s only $9.95), but if you look at the page you get a special bonus – me!
That’s it for now everyone. Stay tuned as I’m starting my next pillar article series soon – all about how to launch a membership site.
Free Teleseminar: Top 7 Action Strategies For Accelerating Your Online Sales
My friend Will Swayne is running a free teleseminar on Tuesday 19th June, 12 noon – 1pm AEST (that’s Aussie time!), which I have the pleasure of co-hosting (really I’m just there to crack bad jokes now and then in-between all the wisdom he dishes out).
Will has slowly become an expert at online conversion and it’s quite clear that online sales process optimization really floats his boat. He just loves testing website elements to improve conversion rates and works every day to help other businesses improve their online sales process.
He’s taken what he has learned through real world testing on some pretty major websites and come up with what he considers the top 7 strategies for accelerating the online sales of any business.
You can get his free whitepaper on the topic now and study it in preparation for the teleseminar next week.
To get the call-in details for the seminar you can opt-in on this page -
http://www.marketing-results.com.au/teleclass/
Note you don’t have to be an Aussie to participate in this call and in fact we are using an American teleconference line to facilitate the seminar, so it will be a local call for those lucky people in North America. An MP3 recording of the call will be circulated via email to the people who signed-up, so you have to opt-in if you want it.
I look forward to having you on the call with me and Will!
Submit Your Questions For A New Podcast
Will Swayne is a friend and fellow Internet marketer who lives in Brisbane, my home (I’m currently in Toronto). A while back I interviewed him for the Entrepreneurs-Journey podcast – Interview with Will Swayne from Marketing-Results.com.au.
We often get together and talk about Internet business, marketing and blogging, and thought since we both run Internet businesses it would be great to start a podcast where we can help other people directly by answering questions and completing site critiques. We have decided to get started and need your contributions to kick off the first show.
Submit Your Questions
Before we launch our new podcast we need questions and websites or blogs you want critiqued. Each episode we will be answering questions from you and also reviewing your websites or blogs to help with your specific problems.
You can leave your questions in the Questions & Site Critiques
Forum.
You will have to be a member of the forums to do so – Forum registration is here.
Feel free to ask any question related to Internet marketing, online business, SEO, blogging or podcasting and we will pick the best questions and answer them on our show. We will also attempt to critique your sites and blogs as well but please be certain you mention what it is you actually want improved on your site (more traffic, higher conversions, affiliate marketing suggestions, increase your subscribers, monetization etc) so we can address the specific problem you face.
Please be certain to include your full name and optionally your website when you leave your questions so we can mention you during the podcast show.
