To be honest I have very little confidence in Paypal to protect me from chargebacks, but that is more because of the way online transactions work - protecting the buyer, especially when no signature is present (as in all online transactions) - rather than the seller. The best chance I have, and this is where I would expect services like Paypal to protect me, is to stop fraudulent transactions before they occur.
