  • I seen it on John Chow as well. The video is very useful.

  • Thanks for a very useful video tips. Ping site and reporting additional knowledge. Creating a pdf report is not actually my list…but I will try this time.

  • Good video for new and upcoming marketers. I saw it over at John Chow and came to comment here too. 🙂

  • Thanks again Yaro, some more useful info 🙂 Keep up the fantastic work.

  • I haven’t tried marketing my blog through YouTube videos yet. But after watching this video I’ll have to seriously think about it. Thanks for the informative video.

  • Your site fails to load at least 50% of the time.

  • Good tips. Another is to submit your videos as ‘video responses’ to videos that get a lot of traffic. You will get some trickle down from high traffic videos that allow video responses.

  • YouTube is such a powerful tool for marketing, but don’t forget the fun as well. I loaded up a video I’d made of nephew’s football tournament and within minutes had emailed, skype, text, phoned the whole family who could enjoy it at the click of a button.

  • I agree with optimising your Youtube channel, it makes the whole enterprise more professional.

  • In my opinion, the most important part of bringing traffic to Youtube videos is actually to have a really cool looking thumbnail picture.

  • Thanks for the tips, youtube truly is a wonderful medium to promote your site. I’ve been working on a couple of videos for my personal blog too but haven’t uploaded them yet. What I’m focusing on is to make the videos interesting enough that people would want to share them with their friends, in other words become viral.

  • I never tried video marketing, I know that YouTube is such a fantastic medium to promote a business, but some questions came to my mind and maybe also other readers are wondering about:

•How to make a killer video?
•What’s hardware or setup we need to have professional homemade videos?

    Regards,
    Hichem

  • Nice Tips! Thanks For the useful tips and i hope in future you will give me to other useful tips. Thanks

I think youtube is good for branding/viral purposes. I have yet to produce any original videos from my blog and would like to hear how others have successfully leveraged the medium.

  • Great tips. I have been thinking about getting into marketing through YouTube. I have bookmarked this video to come back to watch again once I get a video to promote.

  • Right now I have my own youtube channel with a total of 127 subscribers, after viewing that video, I can definitely see some tips to improve upon my youtube channel, and I can definitely see the youtube referrals picking up to my personal blog.

    Till then,

    Jean

  • I have done some videos for youtube also. This is a great post Yaro! It’s really a helpful guide which I will definitely use in the near future.

More power and keep on posting more useful articles …

  • I’m not sure how I feel about item #5. I’m always reluctant to link build for other people’s content (yes I know I made it but it’s hosted on their site.) If it had a dofollow link back to me I’d be a bit more inclined.

  • Thanks for the link. What a great little resource.

Love videos, just easier to see and listen then read a long posting 🙂

  • Go to YouTube, and click Upload. Name the video and all of that stuff. Then it will come to a part where you can choose to either Upload a video, or use Quick Capture. Select Quick Capture which will connect to your webcam and you can record yourself right there.

  • Hi Yaro , I just sign up for Blog Profits Blueprint report and look forward to reading it. Thank you for providing this video, I have always wanted to learn more about Youtube traffic generation.

  • GOOD Communication is a must – Always notify buyers when you mail their items. It is not only a courtesy you would want and expect as a buyer but it is also both good customer service and good business practice.

  • After all, you are the ‘President & CEO’ of your ‘company’ running your business but using ebay as your selling medium. In short, conduct your business so that it reflects well on you as a person.

  • Treat everyone as a human being, not a living being, and this includes people who have inquiries about your items, not just your buyers. The potential bidders making these inquiries could ultimately be your buyers and possibly repeat customers.

  • YouTube analyse all of the flags that have been sent in, if they agree with the flag sent in the appropriate action will be taken against the video.

  • Your MessageHow do you turn youtube video into videos on window media player. I seen video like this myself. Some of my teacher have window media player videos. Please tell me.

  • Great tips Yaro! Loved the videos

  • More videos to watch and learn from. I need a plan for learning one new thing every day and for implementing one new strategy per week. I get overwhelmed by how much there is to learn.

  • Thanks for the tips. The description part of the YouTube Channel can make a lot of difference. We should use it wisely.
